I needed a fan for my CPU with RGB
The media could not be loaded. I have a new motherboard (Gigabyte z390 ultra) and i9 cpu and the rgb blinks to music. I wasn't sure if this would work, but I took a chance. At first I plugged it into my motherboard and did not work, but I looked through the misc connectors that comes with it and saw one labeled "Arorus". So I tried and it works. It has two fan-connectors, 1-3 pin and 1-4 pin. One is for motherboard for RGB 4 pin, the other is for power 3 pin, at least I think that is right as there are no instructions. I have a fan hub so I don't have to plug to MB for power. It is ok. I wanted a fan with clear plastic to show off the lighting which is for CPU cooler. Ya it works. It is different from most fans as it had a tube running through from rim to rim where the screw would go, I thought I might have to cut the tube off, but i did not. And if this was helpful you clock the like button.

Perfect addition to my ROG PC setup
I was a little bit apprehensive when I purchased these fans, having read several mixed reviews that state these fans look "washed-out" or don't properly sync with other ASUS Aura products. My PC build includes 2 x 230mm and 1 x 140mm BitFenix Spectre case fans, and I love the way they look with the other components of my Aura Sync lighting setup. The fans are extremely quite, and my PC tower is always very cool when running.

One of the five fans DOA, no documentation and we will see how support responds
I just got these today for my new ROG Asus MB and was looking forward to changing all the case fans. I went with these because of price and Aura sync. I spend about an hour taking apart my case to put these in, then another two trying to figure out why the lights wont come on. I daisy chained all five lights, 3 - 200mm, 1 - 230mm, and 1 - 140mm fan. None of the lights would come on. So I took the covers back off my case, started changing stuff around. Nothing worked. Then I plugged in one fan at a time, and all the big ones work, the 140 does not light up at all. Plugging the 140 into the chain of other fans kills the LEDs on all of them. I have already requested a replacement. but....This does not inspire a whole lot of confidence in these fans. I just hope that they last.Second, while its pretty straight forward, the information on these, as others have mentioned, is absolutely nowhere to be found. I kept second guessing if I had them hooked up proper or not and looked for any kind of information on connection. There is none, not on google, not on the MFR website, nothing. I had them hooked up correctly but still some kind of documentation would be nice. I actually submitted a ticket to ensure I was plugging into the proper port. We will see if or when they respond.Overall I am concerned with the safety of my new PC with these fans at this point. I will watch it closely and update.

Best 230mm fans you can buy
Best 230mm fan I’ve purchased. These are nigh silent, and despite some of the poor reviews talking about installation difficulty, there not hard to install, just use your brain a little.

Adding that custom touch
In direct sunlight it looks washed out compared to my corsair and thermaltake fans. Any other time works as intended.

Lack of documentation
Needs addressable RGB header to work with Aura sync (Asus). Don't have any instructions that might be needed if you don't have that header. I would add some documentation. Seems like a fair product though.

Works great but no instructions or cable ID
Worked right out the box with the Asus software and this was the only RGB 230mm fan I could find

No instructions, manual, or online resources.
Solid Fan, NO MANUAL, not in the box or online. It comes with all the connectors displayed... however if you don't have Asus aura sync there is absolutely no help on how to power or control the color. I am beyond frustrated as I have spent the last 30 minutes attempting to google ANY install media.. the closest is a youtube video in german... All it shows are parts and then magically lit up fan..I now have a working fan.. that is not lit and 30 minutes of frustration. take my advice spend an extra 10 bucks and purchase something from a reputable manufacturer such as cooler master.

Makes your case look pretty if you run ASUS Aura

Don't let the pretty picture fool you, it doesn't look that good.
No instructions or information included. No identification on which pin was which in its connector. Mounting screws were too short. Colors look too white-washed as well, not very bold.Fan is also a bit noisy. While all my other fans only make as much as as the air that passes through them, this one buzzes and it's annoying. Reminds me of the sound a propeller on a cheap drone makes.
