started this book on holiday but had to leave it on the boat as it belonged to the boat found it on amazon decent price good condition for 2nd hand book would recomend quick delivery

Hard action that you'd expect from John Bald, fast and gripping, violent and extreme, proper Mills & Boon for blokes. Observant reader's may find a few spelling mistakes but as it's a Chris Ryan book we can forgive him that, just hope he goes easy on the proof reader! The only mildly annoying thing is the four or five re-caps spread around in the text explaining what just happened in the previous few chapters clearly designed for the five part mini reads that they like to split books into these days, not required in the complete novel, thank you. Bit lazy of the editor I think but that won't stop me buying the next book in the series (which there will be).

Well written not too hard to follow a bit jumping around. Went along with the other in the in the series can be followed if you can remember the names of the people.

Like, Andy Mc Nab's book's goes straight in to where all the action is. I've bought a few book's by Chris Ryan & enjoyed ever 1. I'd definitely buymore book's by this author. I think he was a member of the S. A. S. & telling us of his experience in life or death situation's. D. S. Jones

The first part of the book was really gripping , however the last third was not quite as good .

A poor book. Some of Ryan's book have been good with lots of detail but in these extreme books he seems to want to portray his heroes as uneducated thugs with guns. I would imagine in such an elite organisation neither would actually make the grade. I like violence in books if it is fed into the storyline but at times with these you feel it is more sensationalism; I am not saying it does not happen but build it in to the flow not just list the atrocities that someone might have done or did. I will not be reading anymore of these particular books as they almost seem like 'quick, on the side' writings.

For anyone with knowledge of firearms you will get pretty annoyed with some errors, I can forgive some as a typo but when you think of Chris Ryan you don’t expect firearm mistakes!

Keeps you wanting to read the next chapter then the next etc ect.Would like more of the same as soon as possible
