These lights are very bright and the super easy to install. All you have to do is find the space where you have some white and not necessarily direct sun and you're good to go. I have about eight of these spread around my property and I love them because they always work when you walk by them. I have these for almost 2 years and they're still working perfectly.

We bought our original set 4 or more years ago. They are still working and are super bright! Ordered another set for a different area. They are so well made. (most solar lights that I purchased previously dimmed after less than a year. My expectations were low) These lights have a really nice far trigger for distance. I pull up in the car 20 + feet away and the lights come on AND stay on until I have left the area. I am ordering a 3rd set. I would love to see an option to order a mounting pole or device with them. I love these

It's a good solar powered light. Installation was easy. It's not as bright as the photoes show but bright enough for outside the front door. If it's bright outside the light won't turn on. That part works fine. But at night it often turns on for no apparent reason. No one is outside and there was no wind. That part probably needs some work. Overall it's a decent light for the price.

These are my fourth try at solar lights, and they are better (you get what you pay for, yep).Pros:1) Motion only, the (3) mode types default to factory setting after battery runs its charge, pain.2) The cheaper versions are not good with rain, most stop working until they dry (of course setting back to default mode, ugh).3) The photo-cell is on top with the solar panels, so I covered the street aimed photocells with black tape so that the city street lamps above don't interfere. Helps too if mounted up eye-level thereabouts, so that auto headlights have little influence.4) No issues with rain.I'll update if I remember to in the future.

My initial impression was that it is not as sensitive to motion as I would like (range limited), now I think the range is OK. There are no instructions provided. I learned by reading reviews that the on / off switch is activated by putting a tiny steel rod (needle sized) into a hole & poking. This is supposed to prevent vandals from turning it off, since they don't know how. But I don't think this plastic device would be hard to turn off with a little hammer! It does seem plenty bright. 1000 lumens is something like a 100 Watt incandescent bulb. So 2000 lumens would be twice that brightness. This device will not come on in the daytime / bright light environment. I have not yet tried to install this by screwing it to something. I have had these devices lying on the top of my huge mailboxes.I like the high K rating 6000-6500K, which means it is more like natural light from a blue sky instead of old low K incandescent yellowish bulbs. Since it is rated at only 4.8W, yet 2000 lumens, it must be quite efficient. The old 100 Watt incandescent bulbs were considered bright if they put out 1000 lumens.I think you may as well buy the 4-pack using a coupon if possible & save money per unit. Imagine using 10 of these to get 20,000 Lumens. I think that would be more economical than trying to get a single unit to do that job.

When I originally received these, 1 didn't work after charging and resetting numerous times. I contacted the seller requesting 1 replacement. They immediately shipped another box with 2 lights. I replaced the one not working and that night it worked perfectly. Then I saw that the new one was much brighter than the other one. So I thought, what the heck I'll replace the dimmer one too since they sent me 2 replacement ones. That night they both worked and were very bright. Thank you seller for prompt response. I'm very happy with these lights

Installed one and noticed the first night that you had to be almost literally under it for it to light up, it's new and it's cold outside no big deal at least it's bright and did turn on I thought it's ok. Well the next day we had relatively minor snow flurries that kept setting the lights off consistently for around an hour nonstop it would remain lit for several minutes then sometimes flicker and strobe on and off fast, until it seems like it discharged entirely in around an hour ( I hope it discharged and not completely broken) but it pretty much failed miserably during a very minor snowstorm that lasted maybe a little over an hour. In comparison I have similar smaller solar security lights from other brands that have survived and function flawlessly ( never any false triggers by snow or rain or failures to illuminate when someone passes by) in way way more severely harsh weather going on 3 YEARS now (below zero temperature and heavy snow fall, heavy rain 100+ degree summers even hail) these barely the second night and did a terrible job. Will probably end up returning these and going with a different brand these cannot handle inclement weather seems like they are over sensitive and turn on until discharged and won't make it to the morning. Should have went with the other brands I had bought prior in this case bigger isnt always better I also noticed one of them had a solar panel inside missing an inch off one panel looks like a manufacturer defect didn't seem to affect it at first but looks like bad quality control. I'm hoping that it somehow adjusts and resets itself when it gets more sun since it's already stuck with gorilla tape to an iron gate 8 feet up ( gorilla mounting tape by the way does a very good job of holding these type of lights same with 3M extreme mounting tape which has held up smaller lights for years now through 100+ degree summers and subzero winters they have never moved at all) too bad these big lights are a disappointment so far. Will update and may increase rating another star if they reset themselves and normalize the next couple of days.
