This jacket is really great quality , it's super warm , really light and just so comfortable

What’s the difference between this $60 long puffer coat and a $400 goose down version? The $60 coat weighs about 10 oz more and does not pack as small, yet has comparable build quality and costs $340 less. A compromise I’m happy to make.

I have worn this coat while taking walks in 30-40 F temps around a lake that is a short distance from my home. I can verify it is very warm and comfortable. For even colder temps, the insulated hood can be elevated to fit your head. The hood is detachable and has a draw string for adjustment. The jacket also extends below the hips for additional warmth. For those needing more room to move while walking outside, there are two zippers in the back to open up the coat; these zippers would also provide some ventilation when open. This puffer coat is filled with a polyester based synthetic down that provides similar insulation to real goose down but not quite the same level of compressibility for packing down. Like many puffer coats, the fabric is polyester/nylon which may shield from a light rain but is not labeled as waterproof. I received the navy blue version, which is perhaps a shade lighter than true navy blue.

I ordered an XXl and the length works for me but the arms are a little tight and in the arm pits is tight, you can’t extend your arm all the way straight. I like the quality of this coat but wasn’t happy with the tightness in some areas. The down fabric is thick and comfortable and will keep you warm. Zips up and down great and you can adjust the hood tighter if you need too.

I really like this coat, it warms and light i bought one blue for everyday and one black for church and special occasion. I strongly recommend this coat.I am thinkful Amanon for this.
