Populele - Smart Ukulele

This is a really nicely made instrument, especially considering the very reasonable cost — and then there’s the bonus of such an amazing learning interface. I’ve been trying to learn an instrument my entire life. It seems I’ve tried everything. But this is so simple and easy. The bluetooth settings latched onto the ukulele immediately. The videos were clear and not too much to take in at once. And then...I was playing. Everything works perfectly, like magic. Very happy with this purchase.

This was an impulse buy and I love it! I was waiting for something like this to come around. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone made one. It's so much fun and the sound is awesome. It's made very well. The app works perfectly. I feel like I'm cheating and wish I can learn the good-old-fashioned way, but I tried that and lost interest quick. It has an extensive song library filled with popular songs everyone knows and the best part is, you can play along with them and record yourself. You can even record your voice! It shows you the chords to strum while you're playing along, like words being highlighted in a karaoke song (it shows you the words too). So much fun. I love it. You can literally hear your progress if you save your songs. I wish I spent the extra $30 on the canvas bag, extra strings, and that doohickey that clamps down on the frets so you can play higher chords. Soon there will be a smart guitar, cello, violin, trumpet, sax...etc. This is our future in learning instruments.

Great quality. Sounds good. Easy to get going with the app. My son loves it.

It’s all good . Had me playing with the first song . Also it’s a plast at parties. Everyone wants to have a try.

I’m pretty sure this is the only way I’m ever going to learn how to play, the app makes it super easy to learn chords quickly!!!

Quailty of build is good... nice little instrument but the blue tooth technology is not as good... I have only been able to connect once after trying many times to my android.

Great gift for my (almost) teenage daughter. It slowly shifts her attention from her phone or iPad towards something more creative. Right out of the box the Populele sound amazing. Tuning it was a breeze with the help of the app. The many songs on the library are all famous hits of her generation. She spent the entire first day playing her populele. Just small breaks for charging - which was relatively quick. Great idea. I think I may get one myself
