I use sunflower oil mainly for cooking or in baking. I have to say, I hate this oil for either of those. Because it is a good quality oil it has a very strong flavour and it is a flavour that I am not especially fond of. It overpowers even the strongest flavours in baking, all I can taste is the oil. However, if you want it for salad dressings and love the flavour of sunflower then I doubt that you would get a better oil. It is a lovely rich, golden colour. It comes as the best oil does in a dark bottle, it is cold pressed, it is great oil. I knocked the star off because I wish the product description had explained the depth of flavour this oil has. Imagine the difference between a good extra virgin olive oil and a supermarket light olive oil, this has a flavour equivalent of the good extra virgin oil. If like me, you want to bake with it, be cautious.
