Same shape as Halo but cheaper and softer!
This sleep sack is virtually the same as the Halo brand. The fabric however is more plush. It's thicker and softer than the Halo fleece sleep sack that I have. I would imagine it's also warmer! I have shared a photo of the two sacks and you can see they are pretty much the same size and shape. The only real difference in design is that the Hudson Baby has a rounder neckline and because the fleece is pusher, sometimes the zipper gets caught a little. My baby likes this style of sleep sack. He hated being swaddled because he likes his arms out (he even broke through when the nurses swaddled him in the hospital!) so he likes the arm freedom of the sack. I like that he still has the warmth of a blanket without the possibility of it getting moved over his face. And though the sack style is a looser fit than a swaddle, it still offers some of the secure feeling for baby by keeping legs contained.I don't think any of these sleep sacks are miracle workers to make babies sleep 8 hours because babies aren't meant to sleep 8 hours! But I think this is a great alternative to a blanket for safety reasons.I have washed a few times on normal cycle with my usual baby laundry detergent and dried on a normal cycle. No pilling or excessive lint problems. It is still super soft.My baby was about 13 lbs and 25 inches long when I bought this. He has the medium which technically starts at 16 lbs but given the style, I don't feel like you need a tight fit. The neckline is not too loose on him and that's really the only part I was concerned about. He is in the same size for the Halo brand.I would definitely buy this again and would give this one as a baby shower gift.Edit- it's now almost 3 years later and I'm using these sleep sacks for my second baby. Still very happy!

Love this so so much
We LOVE this sleep sack. It's super soft and all the stitching and zipper have held up great after months of nightly use. We wash it about once a week in a mesh garment bag and let it air dry. It's so cozy and warm and the fit allows for airflow without being baggy. It's just super snuggly and secure but also roomy enough that our child can roll around. The blue cloud print is nice to look at- we ordered a second as a backup but haven't needed it yet because the first has held up great. We've had Halo sacks in the past that were pretty good, but we actually prefer this kind. Mainly because the zipper doesn't need to be latched together so it makes nighttime diaper changes all the more seamless. We're actually disappointed that the nights are getting too warm to use this anymore, but it's a keeper for sure for future babies. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Great
Both my kids used this and it kept them warm and it’s pretty soft even after a bunch of washes.

Super soft!
The sleep sack is so soft and remains soft after multiple washes. It does not shrink in the washer. The zipper and button at the top are sturdy and functions well after 6 months. Works well for summer and winter. I just bought the same one but I’m a bigger size some my baby is outgrowing this one. Great quality for the price.

Buy this if you want your child to sweat
Or if you live in Alaska.Or if it's wintertime.Or if you BLAST the AC.My gigantic baby stopped being swaddled early on because he started rolling over (and screaming bloody murder every time I tried to tuck his arms in). So began the hunt for a decent sleep bag/sack/whathaveyou. I think I've purchased every single sleep sack/bag out there, and this one was highly rated and inexpensive. Why not? It's VERY soft and cushy, at least the cloud one I got, and very thick. The zipper is chunky and not super smooth.I used it once, and never again since... but that's because my son is huge and he'd have to be butt naked to not overheat in this thing. We now use lighter microfleece sleep bags instead. If your child is NOT huge, and you'd like him to be VERY warm, then this may be the right sleep sack for you!

An amazing sleep sack!!! Best one I've ever purchased.
Update: we've purchased more. We love the minky fabric. Keeps him warm but not too hot! We will be buying one for my niece! I HIGHLY recommend these, obviously! 😅My son loves theses. We use just regular shirt and pants underneath or onesie and then the sleep sack over it. He sleeps in this all night! It doesn't shed. Although the first time I used the plush one, there was a malfunction it still works fine. Just nervous that the metal button will fall off 😬 because of the thick material. Only because it's happen to me with another brand of sleep sack. Picture off the malfunction attached. Otherwise I will be purchasing more once he out grows these. My son is 10 1/2 months old and 30 inches about 20 pounds. And it fits him just right. Probably have to order some soon though.

Amazing- well worth the price!
This sleep sack is amazing, way softer then the Halo brand. Very high quality and my baby is sleeping soundly in it. He’s able to freely move around and even roll over safely in it. It’s thick & warm, so a long sleeve onesie is perfect for underneath. We live in Minnesota, I don’t know that I would recommend it for someone who lives in a warmer area.

Our favorite sleep sack
My son loves this sleep sack. It’s warm enough he’s comfortable without overheating inside. Love that the zipper is at the bottom and doesn’t have to be hooked. He’s 15 months and just grew out of it. It has stood up to lots of washes and love.

Calientito

No sobrecalienta.
