Very nice, fairly large in fit
I’m a 30x30 in men’s jeans (I can fit into a 29 if they’re stretch waist, but 30 is my true size). I got the medium thinking it would be nice for thermals and stuff underneath. Well, they’re big. Even with the straps all the way tight I need to use a belt. They do have a belt loop thankfully, so I will keep them. If you’re a 30” waist, I’d recommend trying the smalls, as they seem to be over-sized by design (they thought of layering too, it appears, and made them large). The medium work with a belt, but seriously the waist is easily over 34”, they fall right off even when tightened. That said I haven’t tried them with thermals, that will help.Anyway, they’re super warm, I’m sitting here inside with them on and they’re too hot to keep on. They’re very clearly made of a water resistant material, like most snow pants I had growing up. The bottoms are large, but you can tuck them in boots or you can fold them and cuff it to make them tight. Inside on the bottom of the leg, there is a separate tight stretch piece (pictured). That’s kind of cool, let’s you cuff the big part and still have that section to tuck in boots or let rest on top.I like them, they’re really nice, just don’t size up unless you’re going to be wearing a ton of stuff inside and using a belt/suspenders.

Seems nice.
These look like nice snow pants and the price isn't too bad. However, the sizing seems way off. I ordered based on my waist size, which is 40" (actual measurement), and my inseam is 32". So based on the Arctix sizing chart, XL should have been perfect, and that's what I ordered. Well, the waist is just huge, at least 3" too big. Without suspenders they would just fall right off, and there's no adjustability. The height also seems way off. They are at least 3" longer than my jeans with a 32 inseam. My only thought is that the Arctix sizing chart is meant to go by the size of regular pants you wear (whose true sizes are considerably larger than the size on the tag). Fair enough, but would have been nice to mention that. That wouldn't account for the huge length discrepancy. Also, the elastic at the bottom has an extremely large opening, won't fit tightly around anything short of a severely swollen ankle/leg. Is this standard for snow pants? Are they designed this way so that you can get them on and off while your boots are still installed? I have no idea, but I always put my shoes/boots on after my pants. But I don't ski, maybe skiers do it differently.Edit: I've been reading through reviews of other ski/snow pants, and it appears that skiers/snowboarders DO use these differently than I do. I guess they put the pants on OVER the outside of the boots, which makes sense if you aren't using gaiters, and also makes sense that they'd run a bit long in that case. So for that application it's fine. I've always used gaiters in the snow (snowshoeing or hiking), so the pants needn't be extra long, and they don't need to fit over boots.Quality seems decent, but I don't really have experience with other snow pants to compare. Wish they came in more vibrant colors.

Extra large = 38” to 40” waist.
I bought the extra large and it was way too big. Like way too big. All of my Levi’s the waist is 36 inch and I had 4 inches of extra space with the extra large. The length is true to size. Nice quality. I am exchanging for the large.

Buy the size you need, not up a size
These are amazing for the price! Great quality, super thick & warm. I ordered up a size thinking I'd need it for layering underneath but they're a tad to big now. Even with the elastic Velcro straps tightened down. I'll be skiing with them anyway, with suspenders 🤣 🤘Definitely would buy again, but buy actual size.

Comfortable but didn't last
I ordered a size smaller than my regular waist and they were still big which could be helpful with layers but unexpected.Within minutes of wearing the first time, I knelt down to adjust my snowshoes and the crotch ripped nearly all of the way. Pretty disappointing.

Plus Size Review
Let me start by saying I always like when I can find a review from a fellow big. I’m 6’4 and just north of 300 lbs. My waist is a true 44x32. After reading the comments I was a bit worried about sizing. I went with the XXL/32 and they just arrived today. Fit is pretty dang good. The crouch part is a bit tight, but i’ll take that over sizing up and having them super baggy. If you’d prefer more crouch room i’d recommend sizing up a bit. This is my first impression just wearing them around the house, but they look and feel great! I am planning on skiing tonight so i’ll report back on if I stay warm.
