Perfect Jacket for me to snowboard in the Rockies with just a T-shirt underneath.
Very warm when its cold. I have been out this season in the Rockies, and on the East coast. Very warm when all zipped up with just a Tshirt underneath, and when its warm, there are plenty of vents to keep you cool. The color is great.Pockets Galore. Love the sleeve pocket for the passes. Inside chest pocket, outside chest pocket on both left and right side. Probably the coolest part of this Jacket is that in the left brest pocket on the outside, there is a lense cloth on a bungee cord to wipe your goggles.... Super thoughtful.I think that the only thing i would ask to have changed is for the Gator to be a bit longer. When I attached it to my belt, one of the snaps ripped off the Gator.

Conquering the Slopes in Comfort and Style
Gearing up for winter adventures can be a chore, but this trusty winter coat from Pioneer Camp has become my go-to for hitting the slopes. From fresh powder days to icy wind chills, it's kept me warm and dry without feeling bulky or bogging down my movements. The waterproof shell shrugged off a surprise blizzard on my last trip, and the insulation did its magic against the biting wind. Plus, the hood cinches down snugly over my helmet, and the built-in powder skirt stops snow from sneaking in.Last weekend, I took a tumble on a black diamond run (don't judge!), and let me tell you, this coat took the beating like a champ. No rips, no tears, just a good brushing off and I was ready to get back on my board. Soaked to the bone? No problem. Throw it in the wash, and it's fresh as new for the next outing. If you're looking for a reliable winter coat that can handle whatever Mother Nature throws your way, definitely check out this Pioneer Camp gem. It's become my trusty companion on all my mountain adventures, and I know it will keep me warm and comfortable for many seasons to come.

Runs a bit small
We live in northern Wisconsin, so high quality winter gear is essential. This jacket is pretty nice and I would recommend it to somebody who doesn't spend a whole lot of time outdoors. It's about as warm as you would expect at this price point. I probably wouldn't want to spend more than a half an hour outside in this jacket, during the dead of winter.I was impressed with the outer material though. And the zipper is very solid. The hood stays up, even on the windiest of days. And the pockets are plenty deep.I used the size chart and still chose to ordered a size up for my usual size.... and this jacket is still snug. I wish I had gone two sizes bigger. The color is nice in person and hides dirt really well.

Kept me warm in 15F, comfortable and feature rich
Got this because my 13yo ski jacket was showing its age and wasn't comfortable to wear any more. It's impressive how much ski jacket technology has progressed in the past decade.I like the design and the extra features like the rfid search and rescue compatible tech in the sleeves and back, the wider neck area that goes higher than your regular jacket so you're protected from the wind and snow but still able to move your head freely to look around.I tested this jacket out on a snowshoe walk in 15F and it kept me very warm with a shirt and t-shirt as base layers. It even kept my forearm area warm which is something most jackets struggle with as the padding in that area is not the thickest. On that walk I got pretty warm for awhile but surprisingly I didn't sweat, this jacket seems to be breathable, I'm guessing through that extra wide neck area. It can be tightened if needed but I kept mine wide open and it was fine, still stayed plenty warm. The zippers are good quality, they go up and down effortlessly and they're waterproof as well.Fitment is towards the looser side, I got a medium as I always go and found the sleeves to be a tad too long but nothing that would bother me too the point where I wouldn't want to wear it. This means i can add extra layers for when it goes into the negatives here.

Quality jacket.
It is a good quality jacket on par with Oakley jacket that I bought for my wife for more then double the price (maybe made by the same manufacturer?!?).One thing that I don’t understand is what is it with the thin zippers trend? In the past all jackets came with robust zippers which were easy to deal with, unlike the the zippers on this and the Oakley jacket. The reason I’ve taken off one star, is because I’m always worried that these zippers will come apart if I’m not gentle with them.
