You MUST treat the griddle as you would any cast iron. Do not use non stick spray on it to cook. Only use your cooking oil and it will work just fine.

Doesn’t fit my stove. A knockoff product whose specs are a little off. The bracket that is supposed to sit in the grates is about 1/4” off on one side. So it sits uneven on it. That being said it’s still useable but will now have hot spots. the cast iron seems to be good quality. I’m mad about spending so much money on it. Please fix your specs.

Heavy made well works well

This is a nice piece of cooking gear. It does need to be seasoned. It is very very heavy.

Very pleased with this-- the quality is high, heavy and thick (in the ways you want from cast iron), and it took to seasoning with oil very quickly. It stores/stows very easily when not in use. This is a replacement part for a specific GE stove, so if you're buying it for another reason, make sure the dimensions (and shape) will work for your set-up. I find it to be a versatile, sleek, and sturdy griddle--- does everything you need it to, cleans easily once properly seasoned.
