Merry Products Modern Folding Cat Tree

The platforms all have a bit of play in how they are seated on the frame. Every time kitty hops on I can hear the platforms wobble. I think my cat avoids the whole thing a bit because of the wobble.If you have a big cat it might have issues hopping up each platform from the lower platform. Mine has to duck pretty low.It does come in one piece folded up so made it easier to put together.Comparing price vs quality it's on the high end to me. I probably wouldn't buy again.

This ladder tree was not difficult to assemble. My cat loves it. The design is open and doesn’t take up bulky, obscuring space. Plus it folds to put aside if one needs more room. I haven’t found it to slide on the wood flooring. Stays put in front of a window without blocking light as other conventional ones do. When my daughter’s cat visits, it’s one of the first places he goes to. Also not dog friendly for my 40 lb mix who does like to climb on the other carpeted cat tree in another room.

Assembly was relatively easy with occasional shimmying to get the pegs to go into the holes on the bottom of the carpet-coated shelves. I was surprised how swiftly I had it assembled.The solid wood and a-frame style makes this cat tower more sturdy and stable than our previous cat "towers." The frame hasn't moved even when my cat was on the top shelf rolling in catnip ecstasy. Our feline's notorious catnip ecstasy rolls have toppled the classic double-decker, carpet-coated, round, cat hiding spot/lounging furniture, and the round, elevated pet bed. The top shelf rattled a little, but I checked and it was still fastened securely. Our cat is louder when she demands attention so I don't mind. I suppose if I wanted to make it stop rattling, I could take some cheap, suede lacing/thong and wrap it around the metal bar to keep the metal-on-metal noise to a minimum.Our cat also loves the space under her new cat tower to hide when she's stalking that blasted red dot (laser pointer) that she can never seem to catch. The space between the floor and platforms is one of the many reasons why I chose this model in the first place so the cat and I are both very pleased with this tower's many features!

Great product however a little wobbly on carpet and slides on hardwood floors. I will purchase no slip pads for my hardwood floor and that will solve the problem. Initial tracking provided was different from the carrier who delivered it and there was no tracking while the item was in route. The item arrived a couple of days late but overall the product is as expected and a quality product.

I was looking for a good cat tree for the three season porch and this one seemed to fit the bill because it was mostly wood and does not have the usual shag carpet. The carpet is nice but not fluffy. The tree is heavy but only took me a short time to assemble. As soon as it was in place, the cats were checking it out. They love it. The only strange thing is that on one side the first three levels are like stair steps but the fourth level is offset so the cats have to get on it from the opposite side. Not a problem but I have blind cats and it was a little tricky for them to figure it out. Not sure why it was designed that way but it's still a great cat tree.

Bought this for our patio area that we can enclose with screens to protect our cats from Coyotes.They love bird watching in the morning and Lizard watching. I bought 2 , they watching posts on each side of the “catio”. I wish I had purchased theses sooner!Also, this couldn’t have been easier to put together! Wow, I’m so impressed by this. I highly recommend! 😻

Super easy to assemble (10 minutes) and looks like a quality piece of "furniture." It doesn't look like the cheap stuff in chain pet stores. The carpeting is nice and hasn't frayed yet -- but I have a separate scratch post. The steps/shelves can wobble a little bit, but my cats got used to that and now the problem is getting them OFF this thing. In our house this is on a hardwood floor and doesn't look like it would scratch, but I'm going to put little rubber or felt pads under the "feet" anyway just in case -- and that might make that little shelf wobble go away, too. It is lightweight and easy to move (unless occupied by cats)If for some reason you needed to, this could be easily disassembled, folded and stored in a closet.I can't really think of any negatives, unless you really wanted to be able to remove the carpeting to wash it. I've just been vacuuming it occasionally with the usual furniture/upholstery type of attachment. A lint roller would also work.Of course, as with all things feline, I can't guarantee *your* cat will love it. But if this thing gets broken or stolen *I* will be buying another one.

Manufacturer responded promptly and provided a replacement part, after one of the crossbeams had some small damage from shipping.The Cat Tree itself is good. Looks nice. Interesting folding design. The cats love the carpet it's upholstered with. Most things snap in and are very secure and sturdy.I have one small issue that could be fixed to make it better. The bottom shelf needs a lock to keep it flat. The shelf is in two pieces and hinged at the middle to allow it to fold. When the cats jump on (or from) the outside edge of the bottom shelf, the shelf folds just a bit and moves about an inch.I used a long screw to secure the two halves of the shelf, as a fix.

Cats don't love it as much as I do, but the set up is easy and it's not ugly to look at!
