I was looking for another pair of steel toe sneakers. The ones I have were getting worn and started to hurt my little toe bad. So I searched and searched and found these, I wasn’t sure but I read the reviews and read a lot of good ones and I went with these. I just received them today so I haven’t worn them to work yet. I have put them on and walked around with them and they are comfortable and roomy . I was gonna go with the size 8 but I’m glad I went with 7.5 they fit perfect with some room to wiggle. I am on my feet in a cold warehouse for 8 to 9 hours a day so it’s important to have good shoes. So far these I believe will work out great. I’ll come back and write an update. I needed some non-slip shoes for work and was trying to find something a little more norma looking than the typical options. I love the look of these and their non-slip features are great . They are also the lightest weight steel toes I've ever owned. I've worn them most days for about three months and they are still holding up great, but I will say the heels are starting to squish a little easier.

My husband loves these shoes. He says they fit perfectly, and are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes he has ever worn. The design on the sides makes them look pretty fashionable, something a lot of no-slip shoes lack. I have seen many pairs that are all black- most look like shoes for the elderly. Being as my husband and I are still young enough that parts of us strive to be cool- we are still young enough to want to be "fashionable" but old enough to worry about slipping. And, in a few years, we probably won't need the stripes anymore...plain black will do then ;). But for now, fashionable non-slip shoes work best. This style is still very young.If you look at the photos I took, you can see the laces of the shoes are pretty cool too- black and blue striped. The shoes have a lot going on for no slips- if you take a good look at them. So if you have a relative that, like us, may need no-slip shoes but still wants to remain "cool"- these shoes are the way to go. And they would be a great gift!"They are very comfortable," my husband says. The only thing I asked him about was the little ledge that sticks out on the back of the shoe. My husband thinks it is there because of some error in design and I can't think of the reason why the bottom of the back of the show would stick out (longer) like that- the only thing I worry about is when I fall behind him when we take walks together- that I might end up stepping on it. Because I often step on his heels- even without the extra ledge these shoes have (check out my photo of the shoe on its side to see what I mean).I thought about taking off a point for this. However, I directly asked my husband if, when he wore the shoes, this longer back would lead to any problem that he could see that would arise because of it. He said "No", that he couldn't see the ledge in the back creating a problem. And there are so many other pros to the shoe- it didn't deserve to lose a star because of the feature, I deduced in the end.When I first picked these shoes up- it felt like I was holding nothing. It certainly didn't weigh enough to be a shoe- but it was. My husband says this lightweight shoe feels great on his foot. He didn't realize how different it would be to walk in a shoe this light. He no longer wants anything but shoes like this now- a slip-resistant, lightweight, comfortable, and easy-to-wear shoe- this shoe (or one exactly like it).My husband is a fairly active man and though my husband doesn't fall often- with the winter coming- with snow and ice- we get to see how these shoes will perform then. While he doesn't think he will fall with them on- I am hoping that is true (as I usually worry about the worst happening). My husband's sight is awful and I like to think that these shoes will help him when he accidentally walks on ice that he shouldn't be on (he does that often not being able to see it).If you have any questions about these shoes, feel free to reach out and ask. I wanted to add that he had dropped a frame he was hanging, it hit the toe part of the shoe and he didn't even feel it- the steel toe top- protecting him from injury. He said he thinks it will protect someone from at least 150 pounds (if dropped on the steel toe portion of the shoe), probably much more.....Also, the long back, he feels it is there because it provides cushion on and for his heel- making the shoes very comfortable and putting a spring in his step. Even with steel toes, the shoes are very light- especially "compared to the traditional boots" my husband said.Thank you
