I was skeptical, but overall glad I made this purchase. 4 stars because in order for it to show completely, you've got to press down really hard and it takes a second to get the page to come out of the embosser. But once it's done it's gorgeous.

The media could not be loaded.  My embossing plates were placed upside down so I have to stamp at the top of the page instead of the bottom corner like I wanted. It also tears through the page if you go too hard or doesn’t emboss the complete image if you don’t go hard enough. I will probably never use it on a book. It comes in a nice case in two pieces and there are no instructions on how it’s supposed to go together. I had to watch the soundless video a couple of times to figure it out. The engraving work on the stamp is beautiful and if it weren’t upside down and I could figure out the perfect pressure it would make a beautiful embossing tool.
