Very useful for drums
I use these under my hi-hat pedal and the stand legs for the hi-hat and kick drum. For the actual kick pedal I use the expensive Roland noise eater since that causes the most vibration, but for the stand legs and hi-hat this suffices. This is all for an electric kit that I use in an apartment to minimize the noise that transfers over to the downstairs and adjacent neighbors.

Great add on for your 3D printer
I use this to cut down the vibration on my 3D printer, and it works great! This would also work great for anything where you need to decrease vibration.

Definitely help
I put them under the legs of my Wahoo Kickr Bike indoor trainer. It was sitting on top of Wahoo mat, which can protects the floor from sweat and hardwood on the floor from scratches, but it does not sufficiently absorb the vibrations from the flywheel of the trainer. With these shock absorbers, a significant fraction of the vibrations disappeared. In my house, it is installed on the second floor. Both, the noise level in the "kickr room" and the noise transmitted through the flor to the room below, were significantly reduced. The pads have a strong rubber smell out of the package. I left them in the garage for 24 hours. They still retained some smell after that, but much less. They are also a little pricey for what they are. They also come with a California disclaimer that some of the materials used for making them may cause cancer. This does not bother me because I do not touch them and not going to lick or chew them, either - I put them under the legs once, and they will sit there and do their vibrations absorption job forever.Since I do not have anything to compare them with, I cannot judge their efficiency on the relative scale. My wife says she still can hear the sound in the room below, which means they are not 100% effective in cancelling out vibrations. I do not know if alternatives in the same price range would be better. Since front leg of the Kickr Bike is flat and wide, it takes two 4" flat pads, so the range of options of what I can use is somewhat limited, for my purposes.Overall, so far so good, I think it was the case of "money well spent". A lower noise level in the kickr room itself (apparently, vibrations of the floor created sound in the room where I exercised) was an unexpected, but welcome bonus to reduction of noise downstairs.

Perfect for what I intended them for.

Works fine
Work well on hard floors, not as good on carpet, very tall (thick) as well and pricey for what you get.

work as intended for record player
Using for a record player that was getting a lot of speaker and sub feedback. Legs were not flexible enough to not get vibration through the air and stand. This combined with speaker noise isolators remedied all of the feedback. Now can turn a pair of klipsch the fives paired with a spl 10 wide open and get no feedback what so ever.
