I've been using this a few months now to absorb sweat, etc. I take the top off a J&J baby powder container and refill it with this talc. It appears the same as the J&J talc minus the fragrance. It's seems to be a finer consistency than corn starch. I'll use corn starch to thicken my sauces, not on my body.

Talc is in a plastic bag inside of ridgid bucket to keep moisture out. Same fine texture and quality as traditional talc powder. Perfect for mold release, etc.

Nicotine has long been a health hazard, but smokers can still buy cigarettes. "Milk" had long applied to cloudy liquids in general (cf. milkweed; coconut milk), but now the dairy industry protests against using it for anything that doesn't come from udders. And yet those of us who need real talcum powder -- who find that substitutes made of cornstarch simply DO NOT absorb for longer than about half an hour -- find such ersatz products lyingly labeled "talc," and are forced to buy the real stuff packaged with warning labels about "for industrial use only," and likely more expensive than a few years ago when we could get it in shaker bottles from the baby supply shelves.This product is the real stuff, just as fine and long-absorbent as you used to be able to buy openly, and enough to last a long time.

I don't know, it's on sale, supposedly is over 2lbs and it's returnable so I think I'll give it a try. Yes, for body use, hate cornstarch. Will update later.

Want a smaller volume

This is a larger amount than I would normally buy. Because it is hard to find, I decided to go with this large quantity. The talc is very fine and worked perfectly for my application. I am happy with this purchase!

Perfect for my wind checker. Filling up my bottles for hunting is way easier and cheaper than $3 a bottle.
