It's a magnet on a stick. It does what it's supposed to and hasn't stopped doing it. It can be annoying to store inside of bags sometimes, but that's not a con. It's just sturdy—can't help that. It is portable enough, though. If you carry it loose in a truck or container of some kind, it's not an issue.

Great tool. Much like using a metal detector with back and forth motion. Strong too. I'm 6'1" so it would have been nice if the handle extended a bit more but it was good enough to clean up lost nails hidden in dirt and leaves after re-siding my home. Glad I bought it.

This adjustable pole makes this magnet a super easy tool to use. When recycling brass we need to ensure that all the steel jackets are removed. This magnet works like a charm and the adjustable arm saves the back for a lot of unnecessary bedding over. The quality and value are on par with what I paid. Very useful when sweeping the neighbor’s yard after the roofers did their pass. Was able to fill up another small coffee can from what was in the flower beds and yard.

Great for picking up pins and needles without having to get on hands and knees. Especially when they are hard to find or see on a dark floor. The head is large enough to sweep over an area quickly and the telescoping arm extends so you can use it in a standing position.
