Very nice quality set
This is my first set of these kind of pens and I’m very happy with them. The set has three sizes (.2, .3 and .5), a mechanical pencil, lead, an eraser and ink. The ink flows effortlessly and evenly. Even the 0.2 one, which I thought might have issues, does not skip. They have a nice weight and grip. I work with ink and watercolor. I thought the ink would run since it doesn’t specify that’s waterproof, but it doesn’t. I’m not sure about durability since I just got them, but so far, I really like them. I love the fact that they are refillable thus reducing plastic waste

Perfect as starter set
Great starter set for my son. My son draws with pens. This will work great for him.

Perfect pen
For the past 2 years I’ve wanted these pens and I’ve finally gotten them, my expectations for them were far exceeded by how great these pens really are. From reading the reviews of how scratchy and messy they are, I’ve found that the smaller the tip the more roughness you’ll get out of them, but even with the slightest pressure they flow so good with ink, so the lighter you press the smoother and less scratch you get. So far, my smallest, .25 is really smooth for me. The price is definitely worth it for these pens. The clean up is easy. They last years and years, so I’ve heard, all you’d have to buy is ink, which is super super cheap considering that’s all you really have to buy. I love the feel of the lines and I’m satisfied with the flow of ink, I would recommend making or buying a grip, since these pens aren’t very ergonomic and do hurt a lil after using for hours. These are now my favorite pens. I will defiantly be buying all the sizes as time passes. 10/10 would recommend if you want to save a ton of money in the long run. I’d also recommend getting a case for them as to keep them in good condition when you’re on the go. Thank you rotring for creating my perfect pen.

Quality pens as long as you take care of them
I picked up this set because it’s cheaper than buying the individual pens. So far, I’m pretty pleased with them. I bought these so I wouldn’t have to keep buying fine liners for drawing. I’m tired of buying supplies that I can’t refill, so these pens were perfect. I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I honestly wish they would make these with aluminum barrels, and not the ultralight plastic that is currently the standard. Numerous people have said the barrels crack over time if you twist the cap or the barrel too tightly when you close them, so this could be a problem for some people. If you are the type who doesn’t mind paying more for quality supplies, and you aren’t particularly rough on your supplies (these pens are delicate), then these pens will work for you. Rotring ink is also quite nice because it’s fast drying and waterproof.

Very good value
These are excellent for pen and ink artwork. The pencil is very good to work with as well. I prefer this brand to other popular art pens and being refillable increases the value. The eraser is really good as well.

Awesome!
I adore these technical pens. After doing endless research on whether or not these were compatible with Speedball Super Black, I decided to just get the cleaning kit too, and do my experiment. I'm pleasantly surprised to find that the Speedball ink doesn't dry or clog the pens at all, as long as I screw the caps back on after use. I went about 4 or 5 days without using the pen I put the Speedball Ink in and the only annoyance was a very small dot of ink that gathers on the nib that needs to be wiped. I also store them upright instead of laying them flat. The ink it comes with is also fantastic, waterproof on both smooth and textured surfaces such as cold press watercolor paper. They deliver the ink so smoothly and evenly, it's amazing! The very thin line from the .20 is just lovely! I thought it would be my least favorite of the three but I actually love it, and find myself wanting to put more tiny details into my drawing. $40 for a set of pens that will last you a lifetime with proper care is a great deal, I'm glad I got these! UPDATE: I went 3 WHOLE WEEKS without using the pen filled with Speedball Super Black, and no clogging whatsoever. Started writing immediately!

Worth the price.
I bought these to feed to my zentangle addiction after going through several micron pens in under a week. These are terrific! I look forward to being able to refill the ink instead of having to throw away pens every time they run out of ink. My Dad has always used these for his architecture and I now understand why.

Be extremely careful when tightening the nib onto the body.
I've been using these for close to a year now and the pens have held up well and still write cleanly and precisely. Unfortunately there are 2 fundamental flaws that I can't get past. 1. The pens lined with thin spike like protrusions running up the nib. These are likely for grip but the finger I rest the pen on gets cut up after long sessions. This is nothing a small bit of tape cannot fix though. 2. Worst of the 2, the shells threads are made of flimsy plastic that crack and split extremely easily. The shards poke out of the body of the pen and stab your fingers. Perplexingly, rotring only sells replacement nibs, not bodies so I will be forced to buy a new set if this degenerates any more. Great pens though. The design just needs some tweaking.

The isograph ink an metal nib is some of the best I've ever drawn with. The ink is very dark and is pretty resistant to feathering, ghosting, and staining (dependant on the paper you use). The only competitor that I see to this pen are the newer Aristo technical pens, which are a lot shorter than I'd like in a pen. So, this pen is essentially my favourite technical pen. However, it has a history of being high-maintenance and expensive. You can't get away from the fact that this isn't very affordable, but what you're buying is quality. In the long run, it will last forever as long as you treat it well, or if you live in a humid environment. In Southern Ontario, the weather is mostly humid, so the ink doesn't ever dry. But if you live in a dry area, you'll have to clean the pen (separated into its disparate pieces) in warm (not hot) water once a week. You might also need to use certain cleaning solvents if your particular pen is VERY dirty. Because of the different pieces involved it can also be easy to destroy if you're clumsy. So I would advise you to think long and hard before you make a commitment to these pens. But if you treat them well, in the long run they're actually cheaper than getting disposable pens. My only gripe is that these pens sometimes don't write or draw very smoothly. Pens with a plastic nib are rounded, so they write pretty smoothly. But if the paper is rough enough, you can sometimes see scratches on the paper if you write too hard, and you might even find some bits of paper in the metal nib. However, this is just what happens if you decide to buy a long-lasting pen. Metal nibs last long, but they aren't rounded. They're flat, so the proper way to write with them in a smooth way (and with a consistent line width) is to write with the pen perpendicular to the paper. It's weird at first, but you'll get used to it quickly. TL;DR: One of the highest quality of pens, but takes a lot of maintenance to make it last forever.
