Almost Perfect
I'm not usually one to write a review but this is an exceptionally good phone. For someone who refuses to give Apple any money I was looking for an android that couldnt just handle gaming but also some heavy 4k video editing on the go. I've managed to test a few games that are quite graphically demanding and I'm really impressed. As expected the phone can get fairly hot if you're maxing out all your settings. There's all kinds of customisations and personalisations. The rear LED light panel is a nice touch.I've been editing and encoding 4k videos from other cameras on this. Seems to handle it very well. Have had some slight issues editing with h265 in 10 bit colour. Phone did get very hot. Haven't had the chance to try the cooling unit yet but this may help.Cameras are very impressive. Will shoot up to 8k which is a bit pointless unless you like chewing through your memory really fast. I love how the rear cameras are gimbal stabilised. The display is crisp and it can go really bright. Really high refresh rate. The phone has a crazy amount of RAM.The only thing that lets this phone down is the lack of internal micro SD port. I have the 512GB version. The 1TB version wasn't available on Amazon at the time and costs quite a bit more.It does have two USBc ports which are really helpful. Especially if you're using a gamepad. The port on the bottom is off centre so it's kinda made my USB game pad quite useless. Fine if you have a Bluetooth gamepad.Battery life is good and lasts all day with moderate usage. Nice fast charging too.

Not worth the price
I had little choice I had to get a new mobile and after some research I decided to get this one I was not impressed from the start the box was just too much the lack of a SD slot was extremely annoying! And although it has a large battery because of all the features it drains quickly luckily the hyper charging cable is a saving grace but the most frustrating thing is my apps constantly keep crashing and no help available quite frankly if I wasn't forced to upgrade I probably would of chosen a different mobile

Absolutey fantastic. Very happy with this Asus Rog 9 Pro
very nicely presented, well made, feels solid. Screen is incredible, speakers are fab.. The phone balances well in your hand, and feels nice to use. I only buy premium phones, this doesnt dissapoint in any measure, sure, the camera isnt comparable to my xperia Pro and i didnt expect it to be, but for that reason, it is better as an al round camera than a pro spec camera. Everything else, so far is super. The way the phone is engineered, software integrating with hardware is great, the air triggers are decent, as is the ani me display on the rear, though the use currently, is somewhat limited, it is an interesting feature. For the price, i paid £1019 from Asus direct, i cannot complain. Some comment about the lack of SD card, fair point but that is something to know before you buy the phone and cannot mark down the phone on that point.I don't generally buy into "Eco Systems" but this really does compliment my Rog laptop too! Thank you Asus!

Excellent phone, lovely screen
First, so far it's handled all the AAA titles I can throw at it & I've not needed to purchase the cooler thingy. It's gotten a little warm but barely. The screen is lovely, camera more than decent, pretty stock Android apart from Armoury crate. It's a little heavy, not sure I'm gonna use it as my everyday phone yet, I use a old Sony Xperia to take out with me. I'll try it & see.I love the 2 USB ports, the headphone port & speakers. The speakers are positioned for optimal gaming sound. Battery life seems pretty good right now although obviously not so much for very graphic heavy games with ray tracing turned on.Armory crate can help with these settings.I assumed it had removable storage - for a microSD - it doesn't but that's on me. 512GB is a very decent onboard storage amount anyway. I just won't be filling it with tons of music & audio books. An OTG SD cable fixes that issue anyway. The biggest thing I really don't like is the front-facing camera. It's in the screen. Not in the bezel or even a notch. It's annoying & stupid.I purchased the phone here as open box saving a considerable amount. I love the phone & will be keeping it but I would not have paid full price. And ASUS, what's with the massive & weird box!
