I was hesitant about buying this product as it is cheaper just to get a bowl of water and dish detergent or some other kind of liquid soap, which was what I was using but I couldn't get a light under my bed so that's why I bought this product. Long story short, I bought two, one to put under my bed the other to put where I had the bowl. In one week in, the product caught more than 200 fleas. I was flabbergasted to think all those fleas were living under my bed. The other trap caught more than double then the bowl did. The bowl caught about 10 in a week and the trap about 25 in a week and a few other misc. insects like fruit flies and a spider, all together, with fleas and other insects, over 30 were caught in one week. This is a great product to use in places where you cannot put a bowl of water, soap and a light. It doesn't get hot wich was a plus for me as I didn't feel like anything around it could accidently heat up and catch fire, my cats couldn't get burned and I couldn't get burned when I picked up the product. Speaking of cats, I have 4 and I allowed them to snife the product and check it out before I put the sticky paper in it. This way they couldn't accidently get their nose stuck to the paper, I don't think it would hurt them, as you can use veggie oil or coconut oil to get it off of them, but it would certainly freak them out. Once their curiosity was satisfied I put the sticky paper and they never went near the trap again. One last note, if you buy this trap and don't see results you may just have the trap in the wrong area, keep moving it (after a couple of days) to a different spot in your home to see where the fleas are more.prevalent. For me it was under the bed which I was very surprised at as they don't lie under the bed, and under my kitchen table. The place they spend most of their time is behind my couch but there were hardly any fleas there which was why I was so surprised. Anyway, needless to say, I highly recommend this product. My only complaint would be is that in one of the traps the light burnt out in only a week, I keep them running 24/7, the light in the second trap is black so it may be going soon too. Fleas mostly come out at night so I may just turn it off during the day when I get new light bulbs. Well, I hope this review helps someone.

I bought two of these flea traps because I was getting bitten to death in my home. Initially, I thought these traps would be a "fix" to the issue. But upon researching further, I realized I would need to take more drastic measures... which I did. I had to use a fogger to rid my apartment of the fleas.That said, I DID catch several fleas in these traps—fairly immediately, at that—over the course of a week or so. At the very least, it confirmed for me what I'd suspected. They work fine, but don't expect them to bring your flea problem to an end.

These things are GREAT! We bought them to rid our house of fleas after a house guest's dog brought them over. The pictures are from about 2 weeks of constant use. The one with a ton of fleas is from the guest room. Please be patient with these. As you'll notice there are teeny tiny fleas and large fleas. It takes time to catch the fleas who haven't hatched from their eggs yet, but they're drawn into the warm light eventually. I can't recommend these enough. We finally found a way to be flea free--eventually!

Waste of money. I recently moved to the west coast of Washington which, according to my vet, is a Flea hotspot (unbeknownst to me). My two poor chihuahuas got them bad this spring, I have no way of knowing how long they've had them, so we got them a spot treatment, and I bought two of these. One I put next to my sofa (which they spend all of their time laying on) and the other next to their pen where they sleep (it is in my walk-in closet so its dark in there during the day. I left both lights on all day long for one week- Haven't seen ANYTHING in them. The packaging claims they lure fleas out of upholstery from 30 ft away, I had the trap plugged in and sitting on the sofa cushion all night and didn't trap anything, the next day I saw a flea jump on my shirt while I was sitting on the sofa.Waste of money. I have eradicated the infestation and my advice is to wash EVERYTHING your pets are in contact with on a hot wash and dry cycle, buy some upholstery spray, Spot treat your pets, and vacuum vacuum vacuum.

These traps catch way more then just fleas. Tested a few traps out last month. Caught fleas, black ants, silverfish, beetles, flies and spiders. Anything that is curious and tries to walk thru the sticky trap, is caught. Amazing. I move them room to room and leave for a week or so, then I change out the stinky bottom out.I Highley recommend them, for the relatively cheap cost of these, there worth it. Also, people were saying that the 7watt light bulbs were failing after a few days. I didn't have a issue with them. They upgraded them to 130v instead of 120v. Makes a big difference on longevity, mine are 2 months old and on and there fine.Enjoy!

I deployed one trap about four hours ago (around 2:00 AM). I deployed it under my computer desk because I've been getting occasional bites while working.The first thing the trap caught was my 3-year-old black cat, who is very curious but a fast learner. I was able to salvage the adhesive disk because it hadn't gotten warm yet. This morning it has two fleas stuck to it, so I am pleased. I also haven't noticed any fleas on my legs.So far the product meets my expectations. I will update if my opinion changes over the next few weeks.
