I am a fan of Maca Root and am quite pleased with this. I find that it helps me stay alert without a crash and utilize it to a noticeable positive effect. I recommend it when caffeine and other energy boosters like Panax Ginseng, taurine, eleuthero root & others aren't working as one may expect or to try as an alternative.I am fine with the taste on its own, it has something of a pleasant texture to it.Flavor: 5 StarsEasy to swallow: 5 StarsValue for money: 5 Stars

I got these Caribou Nutrition maca drops as I generally love to take maca for energy, and my theory is that a liquid form might yield better delivery. Looking at the low amount of mg’s you get per dropper, I hoped it being in liquid form would compensate. Also, since it's organic and in a vegan form so I thought it worth a go.When I first looked at the bottle, I noticed that it says the serving size is 2 dropperfuls and that they define a dropperful as ½ the pipette. I took this amount underneath the tongue. Seeing as it has the earthy, butterscotch flavor that I expect from maca, it’s a bit strong, I think this would be best in about 4 oz of juice. I honestly find that, due to the strong flavor, I only use one of their dropperfuls at a time, and wait a couple hours before the next one.My take on this in regards to strength, is that this is a small to medium ‘boost’ of energy that you can carry in your purse and have during a work day, or when your otherwise out and busy. This also might be a good introduction to maca for someone who hasn't tried it. I would still have your main source of maca would be at home, in capsules or powdered form. I truly wish there were more than 15 servings, but it seems I may only do 1/2 serving per day.I was right about the liquid delivery helping the absorption rate, therefore it's a small to moderate amount of portable energy to accompany you during the day. :)

I've always taken maca root in powder form so I was intrigued when I saw this in liquid form. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to take. It's sweetened with stevia and has natural flavor added, so it tastes fine. It's hard to describe, but it's a flavor I've tasted before but am having a hard time placing it. The best I can describe it is like slightly medicinal, sweetened oatmeal, but in liquid form. The dosage is 2 half filled droppers -- so you get a 15 day supply in this 1 OZ. bottle. I considered adding it to a drink, but I just dropped the liquid directly into my mouth. It tastes fine, it goes down easy and there's no noticeable aftertaste. There's no need to bother adding it to a drink.

I accidentally got 2 bottles of this so my review is the same.I have taken maca before in capsule form. I am familiar with it's benefits and how I should feel while using the supplement. This is a good product. It performs as I'd like and the form of it being a liquid is quite convenient. My only issue is the stevia. Everyone assumes it's harmless but it's not and it's unnecessary. I drop my tinctures in a little bit of orange juice. It's great at covering less than appealing flavors. So stevia is not needed in tinctures. Plus it's a gut flora disruptor so I avoid it at all costs. I'll consume what I have left but won't repurchase because of the stevia.

First of all, I like the full product information provided by the product listing and also like that it's made in the USA. I understand it has Peruvian Maca Root as it's primary ingredient, since the root is native to Peru.The other ingredients listed on the bottle are very minimal, so it's not loaded with unnecessary or additives that I don't want.The expiration or best-buy date is more than a year from my order date, so I feel good about that, knowing that I ordered fresh product, which is very important to me.What I don't like:The expiration or best-by date on bottom of bottle required a flashlight in order to read it, due to their choice of ink color against the amber colored bottle. I'm a stickler for easy date reading and I really wish the makers would rethink the printing process and present the date using an ink that would boldly stand out for easy reading in ambient light.As I stated prior, I haven't taken the supplement just yet, but thus far, I am confident that I would order this item again.
