Dyno No Ladder Light Hanging Kit with 11' Extendable Pole and 25 Light Clips

Once you got the hang of it, it works pretty well. My trick is to put one hanger on in the center of your string set and then hang it up. Then add clips about 1 -2 feet apart and then use the attachment to guide the light string up and into each clip. It was tricky at first. My only complaint is that the pole collapsed on me a couple of times. The pole seems like it does get tight enough when expanding it to keep its length. But I didn’t have to get a ladder to hang about 40 feet of lights 12 feet off the ground.

Our neighbor had one of these poles with gutter clips and when he saw me dealing with a large step ladder to install lights, he showed us how these work. It took a little practice to learn how to get the clips to click into place on the gutter, but once we did, it was simple. And hanging the light over the installed clips was quite straightforward. Removing the clips was easy, we popped them off the gutters as we pulled the light string down and then remove the clips from the lights whilst standing safely on the ground. This is a great way to install Christmas lights and I'll never go back to a ladder again!

This unit uses a telescoping mechanism to get to full length. Like most use a twisting of the columns to loosen or tighten the extension. When I extend the unit out to full length the last section will not tighten and stay in place making it difficult to use the unit as intended.

This is the safest way to hang your Christmas lights. Even though this item isn't exactly cheap...it's a lot cheaper than falling off a ladder & breaking your neck😉

Don't care for this .. when extended does not tighten.. not sturdy.. 2 thumbs down .

The pole with the attached hook is the reason I repurchased this item. When I’m on the second story roof of my home, It is invaluable for holding a string of lights, extending the pole to its 11 foot length, and dropping the string over a metal hook at the top of a third story window.
