This worked great with my Kenwood double din receiver that only has USB on the back.. i was able to remove the cigarette lighter port from my Tahoe center console and with a little widening of the hole, just run the wires through and secure it. Works great! 👌🏻

Very snug fit on sides. Leaves a small gap on top or bottom. Not sending it back but that gap is too much to deal with. I can use it for different product.

This panel mount extension port works great and connected to my new receiver without trouble. Using it for Apple Car Play in the car. Syncs without trouble. Audio AUX port is full stereo. Cable is plenty long enough for the port to be mounted in the center console if you wish. Only thing keeping it from a full 5 stars is the mounting bracket that was supplied, The port doesn't fit properly in it. The inner threaded body is way to small and floats around, the larger flange body is big and doesn't fit the round opening. Had to 3D print my own custom mounting bracket that is shown in the picture. The round hole is about 1.175" in diameter the flange part of the port fits snug. All in all its a nice port and works well. I would buy again and would recommend it.

Used this on an install of an Alpine media head in my daughter’s 2010 Toyota Prius for CarPlay connectivity. This extender/port worked perfectly with no issues but it was smaller than the blank already on the car IP. Had to cut a hole below the blank but that wasn’t a big deal. On of the retaining wings did break when I locked it in place but the other 3 were fine so not a big issue.

Bought this to put a USB port for charging and using Apple CarPlay in my Honda Element (which doesn’t have a native USB port) for a new stereo system I installed. Works perfectly for my needs

Hoped this would fit perfectly in AUX spot for 2010 Toyota Corolla. It did not but made it work and looks ok. It does work as advertised with aftermarket replacement stereo

Out of the box ready to use. Fits in the cigarette holder of my Jeep with little modification to the Jeep panel itself. Purchased for my double din radio install. Looks almost factory. Highly recommend.

This is great and perfect for what I needed. I have a pioneer double din car deck and when i hooked up my phone to my deck, to use the GPS feature, a connection error would always appear after a few mins of use. I had a usb hub that had a circuit board for my connection, in my Hyundai Sonata, which I believe was interfering with the connection.I decided to change my circuit usb hub to this usb adapter and installed it from my dashboard to the car deck usb input jack.The problem I had was instantly fixed. Great product. I highly recommend to anyone. This was a very easy install.

Installed an Android Auto/Carplay head unit in my Chevy traverse. I used the installation adapter to integrate the factory usb. AA would connect and drop intermittently. This product fit in the factory location with little cutting and provided a direct connection to the head unit. Now it works all time, regardless of which cable you use.

The cable itself works wonderfully, but the clips meant to hold the female connector to the panel from the back are very fragile, and not robust at all. I ended up having to use an adhesive to secure the connector to the dash panel, as the clips either failed or were ineffective to hold it securely enough. May work better on a slightly thinner panel, but I would still be concerned with the stability of the hold.

The build looks rather sturdy, the cables have good insulation.The female USB plug do not allow for full insertion of the male counterpart. It still works, but it has some movement when connected. And since it is installed in a vehicle, I wonder if vibrations will not cause some problems.
