Perfect length for a cavalier King Charles spaniel. We use it on a hands free dog walking belt. It gives them just enough length to sniff and explore without us tripping over it.Soft and comfortable to holdAs other reviews have stated the clip is bigger than the usual style but wasn’t an issue

The clip stopped closing fully after 2 years and I bought replacements on Amazon and changed that. The unpadded handle is less comfortable than other leads I have, especially when my hands are cold. I can get a bit sore if the dog isn't in a co-operative mood.

I originally ordered two of these leads (one blue, one orange to match collars and harnesses) to be delivered elsewhere as a gift. Somehow this order got twisted to two blue leads. It was too much hasel to get the receipient to return that I ended up ordering this a third one to get the matching orange lead!Bright orange with the 3M reflective strips, comfortable to hold and matches the collar and harness. At an overall 43inches (tip to tip) you might want to consider the 2metre version on sale for just pence more.
