Use this with a shop crane, nice to have fine control over up and down. occasionally binds when changing direction, but otherwise works as expected. nothing terribly crusty about it, so generally pleased with it.

We use this to lift up equipment from an overhead gantry crane. The manual mechanism works well, but there are a couple things I wish were done differently.I understand the black chain needs to be oiled to prevent corrosion, but the silver chain you put your hands on doesn't need it. I had to give it an alcohol bath as the oil was getting EVERYWHERE.Another issue is that the clevis hook is a bit small, we ended up having to find a bigger shackle that fit inside the hook so we could use our bridle to lift with. Other than that, it works great.
