Art-N-Fly Battery Operated Pencil Eraser Electric Eraser with 51 Eraser Refills for Graphite Pencil and Color Pencils

I purchased this to try on removing colored pencil from paper. I also wanted to have a smaller eraser for detailing things like highlights in eyes. I don't think the description of the product claimed it erased color pencil, but it does! It won't erase it completely, but it makes it significantly lighter, which is what I was looking for. It's on par with how regular erasers for pencils erase some of the graphite, but there's always a shadow left behind. I purchased this one for me, and a more expensive one for my daughter who draws a lot more often than I do. That electric eraser can be recharged with a USB port. I'm satisfied with the cheaper version that uses batteries because I won't be using it daily, so it should last a long time on battery power.

My 10 yr old loves to draw. She goes through erasers like carzy. This thing is amazing and I was shocked at how well it works. Even though it is battery operated it has power and gets the job done.

I like the slim design of the eraser, but the on/off switch, that has to be held continuously, and was in an awkward position for my hand.

I create my artwork in pen but I do a lite outline in pencil. I bought the eraser to remove the pencil lines after the ink is dry. The pencil removed some of the ink as well. I think this eraser would be great for a colored pencil artist who needs to remove some layers of the pencil. Paper only holds so much of the pigment before it needs to be removed to add more colors. It happens when you do lots of layering. this pencil would be good for that or for erasing only pencil marks. It works very well.

This works but was difficult for me to use, although the white eraser refill works decently. I have arthritis in my hands and I found the switch is not in a good place for me. It does not work continuously in that for it to work the switch has to be pressed constantly, difficult for me and not efficient for erasing a larger area. What was REALLY frustrating was that the white eraser refill crept back into the holder as I pressed it to the paper, no matter how lightly. The metal part that holds the refillable part is too loose. I tried to tighten it but that didn't work. I ended up wrapping a piece of tissue around the eraser refill it to hold it into the handle. Since then, I spent a little more and got a SumoGrip EE3000. I highly recommend this one instead of wasting your money on the cheaper one.

My planner is color coded to keep my hamster brain in line, but things change and getting that colored pencil shading erased was a pain, literally. So, in comes this self-propelled little thing and VOILA! the color is gone.The only down side is about 1/4" of the eraser gets wasted because it flips out of the holder due to the pressure and friction.

I don’t know about battery life yet to be fair.What I like about this is just the small size of the erasers which plenty of refills and holder eraser is used in is nice. I mostly use without the power as you need to get used to that as it can can skip up and around, but with practice would be good, I have used on colored and regular pencils and works great.

I have used many electric erasers over the years and most come with only a few eraser replacements. This one has a lot of replacements and the design is light and small. You need 2 AAA batteries to run it. Good for graphite and charcoal but use separate erasers for both mediums. Better and quicker than using a hand held eraser.

Ich leite Zeichenkurse und dieses kleine Gerät ist der Hit! Mitgeliefert waren unzählige Ersatzradierer. Die Batterien waren nicht dabei. Ist auch nicht üblich. Ich habe diesen Radierer schon zweimal gekauft. Empfehlung.

I liked this electric eraser for ease of use. It works faster than erasers and seems to leave a clean surface after use. It is accurate in getting in small spaces. Feels comfortable in the hand. Comes with extra erasers.
