Great piece of kit
Great piece of kit. The ability to record from tape to USB was the clincher for me. It is well built as you would expect from Teac and easy to operate.

Great quality cassette recorder and cd player
This is old established tech, but none the worse for that. It can breathe new life into your old cassettes. High build quality, with the refinements which I thought were no longer available. The ability to record your analogue audio source to digital, via usb memory, allows you to play the music on any modern device. With all its features and capabilities it’s got to be good value at the price.

TEAC ADRRW 900 REVIEW
I purchased this machine not from Amazon but from a Hi Fi source but its the same model.I have been archiving both my and my late fathers jazz record/tape collection for over 4 years. You could say I have gained some experience during this time and its cost me a fortune in doing so.I am not one for doing reviews but I feel I could help someone out there in making the right choice and save them some money.I basically started using an ION USB powered record deck cheap to buy and within a 300 recordings the quality went down the pan.First lot of disc's to be trashed.I then got a powered ION deck much better quality but the ION decks can only be used through i tunes on your computer and they have a habit of cutting out towards the ends of sides which means you have to go back and piece in the ends. This is more prone to jazz than pop recordings and especially so on live albums.I was going to keep these & then I started on the tapes.I did have a a stand alone marantz cd recorder which I could use with an old NAD machine. The quality on the stand alone was much better but my record deck was broken so I was not able to use it the same way, however the marantz packed up before I could finish.Enter the TEAC model.Very easy to use and I was back recording straight away (having started using my late fathers record deck as well). The results have been a very big improvement.I now record on RWCD'S on the TEAC machine then transfer them onto the computer and using a MAGIX program to sort out the tracks and to clean up where needed before a final burn. The results are now near perfect. I have had people sat in my car and they think they are listening to a commercial cd,they are that good. The play back of cd's and tapes are very good there's no difference between this and a cd only machine at this price. The only fault I can find is that the machine is prone to freeze up when you are setting it up to record.I don't think it's a fault on my machine but a problem with having to navigate the recorder through the source button (I clear this by switching off and back on).In short if you have a lot to archive and you can afford the price, this is the model to go for if you have both records and tapes to archive. Finally you need to use blank music cds the best ones to use with this machine are Maxell XL11 80's I don't get problems with these on either the TEAC or with my Roxio burner on my computer.Sorry to have waffled on back to the archiving!

Top piece of equipment. Don't hesitate if you want to hear your CDs and tapes in quality sound. Plus plenty of fun on the karaoke. You need to buy your mike obviously.
