New Zealand Strike Indicator Wool

Bought as a gift for my father, and it was just what he needed for his next fishing trip. He's used the brand before and says they will work great.

If you’re going to use a New Zealand indicator…then this is the stuff you need

I did not by the whole new Zealand wool set up, just the wool. I just make a slip loop in my leader, and just a little bit of wool will float even a heavy stonefly nymph AND a copper John in rough water. It lands soft and is super sensitive. I've given up all other indicators.

Initially, I thought the description was missing details that should have been included and I gave a low rating based on that. The seller contacted me immediately and more than corrected the problem. Works great on thicker tippet but has a tendency to slide on finer tippets. Trying to put more pressure on pulling the tippet deeper usually pulls itout. Will have to figure out a way to work with light tippets or just use it further you the leader.

Over priced but it works very well. I lost the bag with the extra tubes and wool (wind blew it away into the stream), It was expensive to replace, eventhough I still had the tool. Not happy about that. It does work better than other strike indicators I have used.

Great resilient yarn for an indicator, but don't bother buying the tool or tubing. You can attach the yarn to your leader using an open loop knot, which can be undone without leaving a knot in your leader. It's an easy knot to make while you're in the water.

Great product and would definitely buy again. It works alot better then most strike indicators and dont teist your leader
