Excellent product!
The tribe WOD Ab roller is an excellent product. It's well designed and sturdy. It's a matter of time to build your core and really take full advantage of the ab roller. Start out slow with doing 10 to15 per set doing 3 sets or more not at full strech. You will feel sore the next day. Give it a day before starting up again. Once your core feels strong enough start utilizing the roller at full strech to maximize its benefits every day. The return spring inside is what makes this product unique. You can roll out left to right and straight. This will quickly help build your core and abs.

Hefty and Wide Handles
Obviously this ab roller is wider than others which helps with beginners since there is more surface area for balance. With its ergonomic handle, I found comfort and less stress in my grip which helped me focus more on my form. The large wheel also insured that I didn't lose my balance without the sacrificing performance. The retraction mechanic is nice to have to make the workout more smooth and exacting.

Great Ab Roller
The Tribe WOD Ab Roller Wheel has been great so far.Don't be like me; READ the instructions. I didn't read them at first and was wondering why it wasn't working. It's quite simple to put together but the handles have to go on the right side otherwise it will not work. The only downside I see so far is the fact it will not work on carpets, you need to be on a solid surface. It does work really well though and I do prefer it over the traditional wheel ab roller. It's definitely a little easier to maneuver and I feel it's a bit steadier. Overall, it's a solid purchase but don't expect it to be a whole lot different than a traditional wheel roller.

Excellent ab workout
This ab roller works great. It provides an excellent ab workout.I never used an ab roller before and was a bit skeptical but this really works out your core well. The wide handle is very comfortable to grip and doesn't cause any pain on my hands as the wide handle spreads out the weight over a wider area than a simple round handle. It's nice and small so it doesn't take up much room and you can easily it with you and work out anywhere which is a major plus.Highly recommend.

Great Ab Roller format, this seems like a valid contender
This is a pretty popular format in the ab roller fitness department. It has a nice stable width to the wheel, rounded slightly towards each outside edge for smooth alternating from left and over to right. Of course you can use this in just the straight out and back fashion. I think this design functions particularly well for arcing to one side then the other, it feels more stable than doing the same thing with a traditional flat wheel style ab roller. The selling point of this roller though is there is a built-in spring that builds tension as you roll out, and offers a little bit of assist coming back (outstretched to your max, that is when you need the assist most). I like that feature because it allows me to push myself towards exhaustion and still have the confidence that I won't fall flat on my face. I've been using an ab roller of this same design from perfect fitness for years and this one compares very well to it. The design is almost identical, right down the rubber wheel for traction and the shape of the handles (which is contoured and comfortable). However, this does not have rubber over-molds on the handles, so this one is slightly less comfortable. This one also seems to make more noise inside than my other roller. I've used this for half a dozen sessions now and it's still holding up just fine. Considering the price advantage of this ab roller, I think it's a pretty valid contender for this format of ab roller.

Effective ab workout
I love having this in my office. Whenever I take a break I do a dozen reps with this so I’m able to put in a nice ab workout most days of the week. It’s very sturdy so when my business partner comes over I don’t have to worry about him breaking it (he’s a big boy.). It’s also very smooth so it’s easy to control. I’ve had the simple flat wheel type, but this barrel-shaped one is so much easier to use.

Not sure I like it
I've been using a simple wheel and handle device for a while now doing the exercise this device is made for. I really had no problems with the simple device; it did the job just fine. When I had the chance to get this model, I gave it try. Again, it does the same exercise, but this model is bigger and heavier. What I did not realize before I picked it is it also has a spring action internal device. When you roll it forward, the spring builds up tension and when you roll back, it releases the tension. This is where I have issues. While it does create a little resistance when pushing forward, it also provides "lift" rolling back. Does this do anything extra for my muscles? The real problem with the spring action, though, is it eventually stops the wheel. The wheel only rolls backwards so far, then it locks. Every time I used it, it starts out with me being able to roll my entire distance forward and back, but after a while it moves or somehow gets out of whack and the wheel starts to lock before I'm done pulling back up. Then I have to lift the wheel off the ground and reposition it. I have to do this several times. I can pre-tighten the spring and that helps a little, but before the end of my routine, I still have to reposition the wheel. It interrupts my routine. On the plus side, the wider wheel curves towards the edges and is easier to "steer" right and left if you want to add variety to the exercise.

Great Ab Roller
I had a need for an ab roller during my workouts and this was a great option. Here are a few things I liked about it:- It is well built with tough plastic and metal where the handles connect. I weigh about 200 pounds and I am not worried about putting my weight into a roll.- Be sure to put the handles in correctly. It won't roll as well if you don't put them in the right way.- I appreciate the largeness of this ab roller. It helps keep better balance for anyone that may struggle with this type of workout.- I really appreciate the included knee pad. It's not something I thought about needing, but I don't use this roller without it now.Overall, this is a great ab roller at a decent price!
