Perfect
Bought this to help my retro gaming habit. My new TV has a mini jack AV input so this was exactly what I needed. Easy to use, picture is as you'd expect. Great!

Did the job, but fiddly.
A bit temperamental to connect as you shouldn't push the connectors in all the way.

OpenII: 3.5mm AV to RCA Audio Splitter Cable
Long story short, this cable DOES work. Now, if there weren't other reviewers warning of the miswiring in the sense the manufacture got the colours the wrong way around, I would have thought it was completely faulty.I needed to connect my ancient Sky box to my latest OLED TV but there is no SCART or composite connection, so I got myself a SCART to RCA cable and then this adapter to allow me to connect it to my TV's 3.5mm AV port...Colours on the left are the RCA cable colours and on the right are them going into this splitters colours:• Yellow into Red.• White into Yellow.• Red into White. With the above combination done, I was able to finally view my old Sky box on my new TV without issues (apart from poor resolution, but I knew that was going to happen as it's just standard definition being blown up on a large TV).

It works with Sony!
After buying a few of these (various brands) I finally found one that works with my Sony Bravia HDTV.The coloured connecters don't match up but once I found the right combination (start by switching red/yellow) I now have AV as a connection option.Successfully tested with a Nintendo Wii, presumably I could now connect other old tech too such as a PS2.If you are looking to connect a Wii to a modern TV its worth considering a Wii2HDMI adapter as a option instead.

Connecting PS2 To Sony Bravia
I tried an adapter for RCA to HDMI with no success at all. This works perfectly for connecting an old PS2 to a Sony Bravia KD49XH8196 (Android Smart TV). However, it's worth noting that the colour of the PS2 leads to this adapter need some "tweaking". The setup that worked for me was:PS2 Lead TV (Splitter Cable)Yellow RedWhite YellowRed White

Connected to the Wii
This product works seamlessly, connected the Wii to a newer TV and it works. although you have to connect it differently it's not red goes to red and yellow goes to yellow its: YELLOW - REDTV- WHITE - YELLOW -Wii RED - WHITEIf you follow that guide then it will work, also it works with sound as well.Hoped this review was helpful!

Sound does not work
I tried to use this to play my gamecube on an hd tv. The video came out perfectly (albeit a little blurry but its a gamecube thats to be expected) however the sound doesnt work whatsoever only producing a combination of static and harsh high pitched tones rather than the music i remember from mario kart
