Very functional for indoor wok cooking
This is an induction wok burner so you'll need a wok made of a ferromagnetic material like carbon steel, cast iron, or magnetic stainless steel. Also, it's designed for a round bottom wok. I've heard on an impartial youtube video that it might work with a flat bottom pan, but I've not tested that. The few times I've used it so far, I've found that it gets plenty hot for Cantonese style stir frying and the temperature controls work well. Moving the wok around the unit while cooking is handled well with no damage to the unit. I also have a wok burner recommended by Kenji that goes to 130,000btu. This isn't that! But, that unit is unique and definitely something to use outside.

Perfect little burner for a home bar, as well as making agar plates for mycology.
I've hauled this thing out from under the cabinet at my upstairs bar to do what feels like a million different things. It's awesome for making syrups, foams, and fusions for craft cocktails. It also is excellent at pre-mixing agar for petri dishes for starting culinary mushrooms. Keeps it all very tight in one spot, and it doesn't have to be downstairs at the stove--I basically feel like I suddenly got a stove top at the bar. It works extremely quickly with its different power levels, and I really love that I can dial in the temperature by levels. Got a shot of the manual so you can check out the standard operating ability. The only possible thing that would make it better is if it had a magnetic stirrer somewhere inside so that I could have the pot auto-stirred...you need that for syrups...but no matter. It's super fast to clean the ceramic top and panel. I have a picture of the surface which bowls down into the interior--I presume for woks and stir fry, etc. But it works just fine with a flat bottom pot as well, big or small. Gets hot as hades, so be careful where you set it and keep a good eye on it. Overall, super happy to have the opportunity to review this for free through the Vine program, and it has been extremely useful. Easily a 5 for me, and any home bar aficionado will enjoy having it around.

Easy to use and saves space!
This is a nice Wok Induction Cooktop. It doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter while using, so it makes me happy. We love Asian food, especially friend rice. It's always been a pain trying to use the wok on my stove. This cooktop burner makes it so much easier to use my work. The shape of the burner fits my wok just great! This cooktop is so easy to use!

Works Great!
Works great and does work with flat bottom or rounded pan bottoms. There does appear to be a mismatch on the control labels, but it isn't so bad to make it difficult to read or understand the controls.

If I Could Return This I Would. Pans Slip and Slide, Contents Spill Out. And It's Huge.
This is a very large Induction Wok Hot "Bowl". When I ordered this, the description was different. It was listed as working with normal pans (not only woks), but it doesn't. The instructions also say it works with normal pans, it doesn't. My wok must not be the exact correct size, as it slips and slides around. It's sort of risky to use as I have to hold the pan the whole time to stop the contents from sliding out if I release the pan handle. I think my wok doesn't work as it has a metal handle which causes it to be unbalanced and the bowl is too slippery to keep it stable. I think if you have the exact correct wok size with a very light handle, this might work, but it's way too much trouble and burn risk for me. I give one star to any item I think could cause injury lasting more than a 24 hour period, so this is a 1 from me.

Not ideal for flat plans
It does work. But you need to read the description completely. I have tried 3 different pans on this and some work better than others. If you are using a flat pan that fits perfectly in the circle, it's fine. Using a round bottom pan, it works great. Anything else, the pan moves around a lot. It definitely takes some getting used to. Although it won't be my go to for everyday cooking, it's great for my wok.
