A good alternative to sodium salt
In an effort to cut down on my sodium consumption, I've been using this and feel it covers the need for salt taste in an acceptable flavor. Yes it tastes very slightly different than sodium but most of the time that's undetectable. And my dietitian is absolutely delighted with my choice! This seems to me a very healthy alternative recommended by my medical folks.

Excellent magnesium, salt alternative
Good salt, all magnesium and no salt. Magnesium is very beneficial essential mineral for our body. So you're getting a good dose of magnesium in less than a quarter of a teaspoon mixed with water. Does not contain much in the small tube so need to buy 3 or more to last longer if you're using it everyday. Good stuff, doesn't taste like salt.

Using this for Potassium electrolytes
My desire for this product is for the main (only) ingredient of POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. It is a great source of the ELECTROLYTE Potassium. I can get my sodium through many other means, magnesium through the supplement magnesium malate and calcium and zinc from other supplements or natural foods... No need to spend hundreds of dollars on OVERPRICED electrolyte powders with this product. You can do it yourself with this salt substitute for a FRACTION of the cost. The taste of potassium chloride is what it is. Salty chemical taste BUT that is the nature of the beast. We still can not make spinach and Brussel sprouts taste like candy bars and potato chips. For me, this is electrolyte base for my home-made inexpensive electrolyte powder. No MORE overpriced powder $$$$
