ARCTIC F9 Silent - 92 mm Case Fan, Very quiet motor, Computer, Almost inaudible, Push- or Pull Configuration, Fan Speed: 1000 RPM - Black, White

This arrived, and I assumed that the Arctic logo would be facing outward, actually it needs to face inward to suck air out of the case. The metal threads are located based on it facing the wrong way, so with it facing the right way you screw the screws into bare plastic, which is fine, but a bit weird that the metal threads are located for that way round.Still it's very quiet, and works fine, good value.

I put this in my Synology DS218. It sits in a cabinet on some bubble wrap but you could still hear it. This was less than £3 so wasn't much of a risk. Yes it's not silent but unlike before I don't notice it unless I listen for it. I had one issue in swapping which is all Synology, the design for clipping the case together is not good, needed two knifes to prise apart then pull. Installation from Arctic was fine. However.......this is a big thing. You can position this either side facing, one sucks cold air in the other way pushes hot air out. Bear this in mind before closing everything up again. The stock fan pushes hot air out.

Easy to swap out the old 90mm fan and pop this one in. Came with screws too. Instant decrease in noise but I've come to realise it's the power supply fan making all the racket still! 3 pin connector - make sure you buy the right one. Not silent but very quiet. Good value and came quickly.

Bought to help control the temperature of my PC during gaming, I have a modest set up but look to overclock where I can. Stuck these on the free fan slots on the side and back of my pc.Theyre basic and always running at the same speed no matter the temperature but that's fine, you can shell out for more expensive controllable or LED fans, but these are cheap and cheerful and get the job done if you don't care about those things.

Paying only a few pounds for a fan I didn't expect much but this really is a lot quieter than I thought it would be. The temperature happily sits around 36-38 and I can barely hear any noise. Very pleased with this and will get more for my other tower.

This fan fit perfect in a 90 mm hole pattern. I had a loud fan in a relatives computer that was driving them crazy and I put this in and it completely solved the issue.The warranty on this is really long and I think it was 6 years.The fan blades are white and this may be a turn off for some users depending on where you are putting it. I put it inside a case without any clear windows so it cannot be seen and it does not matter to me or my relative.This fan is a bit more expensive than other brands, but seemed like the best option and i could get it fast with Amazon.I had used the brand before and knew it was silent and that was important in this application.

Il sistema di airflow è buono, sia per il numero di giri sia per la forma delle alette, dando anche un basso livello di rumore. Il corpo è costruito in plastica rigida e presenta un'ottima stabilità, il fissaggio al case è fatto mediante 4 viti. La ventola sfrutta un sistema di rotazione basato su cuscinetti idrodinamici, che fornisce una minore rumorosità rispetto ai classici modelli con cuscinetto meccanico. Risulta però più rumorosa rispetto alle nuove ventole basate su cuscinetti a levitazione magnetica.Prodotto consigliato per la sostituzione di vecchie ventole e migliorare l'airflow del proprio desktop.

Mein Einsatzzweck war es eine Synology Diskstation DS-415+ etwas leiser zu bekommen. Dazu hatte ich zuerst 2 Noctura Lüfter bestellt, jedoch waren die entgegen vieler Rezesionen nicht leiser als die Originallüfter und bei 18€ das Stück habe ich diese wieder zurückgeschickt.Danach habe ich 2 Arctic F9-Silent für 3€! das Stck bestellt und gedacht es ist einen Versuch wert. Volltreffer! Diesmal war die DS tatsächlich deutlich leiser. Im stillen Modus war das Festplattengeräusch lauter als die Lüfter. Die Festplattentemperatur hat sich bei mir im Vergleich zu den Originallüftern nicht verändert. Ich hatte und habe im Schnitt zwischen 30 und 32 Grad bei den Festplatten (WD RED).Fazit:Kann die F9 Silent als leisen Ersatz für die Synology DS-415+ absolut ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.

Doesn't move a lot of air but it is as quiet as can be. Decent case fan for the price.
