This is a great water bottle but unfortunayely it doesnt compare to other brands that claim to add scent type flavor to your water. I didnt notice that it worked for me or anyone who tried it. It does its job as a water bottle however.

Let me start with this... I gave 2 stars because the water bottle does hold water and is usable WITHOUT the scent ring. All the rest, junk. The scent rings definitely have a fake smell to the scents. Not too bad, but noticeable. To use it, you need to set the ring on the nozzle fully seated down. When drinking, you need to lift it which allows the scent to be released. The nozzle and the scent ring both have tiny holes which need to line up perfectly to get the desired effect. I spent more time trying to line up these holes than should be needed to get any flavor. This bottle is supposed to encourage the drinking of more water. It does the complete opposite. In my opinion, this and other similar bottles are insanely over-hyped and should be avoided. All those influencers pimping these things are misleading you. Avoid this product.

I want to first start this review by saying I received this item for free but that this does not affect my review or opinion of the item.Before I start the review of this water bottle, I want to get something out of the way regarding "Air Flavored Water bottles". These water bottle work by trying to trick your brain into thinking your drinking flavored water, but in actuality these bottles do not add ANY flavor to the actual water. They rely on scented pods that you will smell as you drink, but the water still tastes like water. If drank correctly, the effect somewhat works and is enjoyable, but don't expect it to be just as good as a flavor power or liquid. By drinking it correctly, I mean tilting the water bottle so that the air holes of the water bottle are in front of your nose so that you smell the scent as you drink.Now that that's out of the way, This bottle is kind of an ok option in the scented bottle market. This is the first one I have seen that is not curved at the top. This bottle includes an optional straw which I don't recommend using. I don't recommend it, since the top is not curved and for the concept of this bottle to work you have to have your nose close to the bottle. When using the straw, you don't lean as far in. Tilting this bottle is much more effective, and additionally, the straw included does not work well anyway.The included scent pods are very good, and I like the variety. My favorite is the grape scent and the cola scent. Another interesting thing about this bottle compared to others is that when you go to drink, you have to slightly lift up the scented pod before drinking to activate and preserve the scent.Overall, this bottle is an interesting yet slightly faulty design choice for this type of bottle. I can't necessarily recommend it or not recommend it, since it does work, but the design is all over the place. Take what I have written into consideration when it comes to this bottle.
