Update on This Item!
So this was not the miracle foam board cutter I was hoping for. The blade would not stay put in the device and would “slide” back. I burned myself several times trying to put it back in place so the heat was pretty good lol.The cutting was choppy and jagged. Wish I had taken a pic of the edge of the foam board project I was trying to cut out.I finally decided to super glue the blade in place, however once I did that, it sort of “popped” and whole thing turned off and stopped working! So MY BAD- however if the blade would’ve just stay put, I’d still have this device. No worries tho- it really wasn’t that great of a product. I just threw it away.Since writing the above review, the company contacted me and offered me a FULL REFUND on this item! Very impressive!

Junk
Unable to install knife holder. Threads are too short or adapter collar is wrong size. They send 2 adapters and both would not work. Tried to get help from supplier but got no response. Not at all pleased with this knife.

Wish it cut cleaner
This works but I wish it cut cleaner. It melts into a blob so be careful and go slow.

Clear cut for thick plastic sheet
Other than the bad instructions which took a while to figure out got to connect the blade, the knife worked well. Need to go slow when cutting thick plastic sheet but it came out clean. I put the sheet on a wooden plank and then put pressure with the hot knife to cut the sheet.
