Just buy these
These are not 100% perfect, BUT for the price and time saved there totally worth it. I had a 2005 2500hd ext cab and I literally did the entire brake system in a couple of hours, go ahead and make it easy on yourself and pull the fender wells and start spraying your rubber hoses connection points with penetrating fluid now. I’ve messed with getting steel line from the parts store and the copper line as well. You won’t be disappointed and they’ll never rust out again. You may have to hand tweak them a tiny bit but that’s it.

Brake lines will never be easy to do but these help
They’ll never be totally perfect from the factory but these ones were close enough to get it done, I recommend replacing the rubber lines while your at itThey all fit pretty well but coming up from the ABS block was a pain to get them to settle in but it’s to be expected

Great brake line kit for 2006 chevy 2500 hd
This is the best buy hands down to replace all your brake lines on the truck . Don't forget to buy all the rubber lines for your truck as they are as bad as the steel lines 2 caliper rear , 2 front caliper and 1 to the differential I can't say enough good things about this kit after spending years making brake lines for these trucks

Hairline cracks
The driver side front line had a hairline crack that was impossible to see before it started to leak and, because of a manufacturing defect where the flange meets the brake hose, there was a leak there as well. Had to splice in old brake line and rebleed the entire system costing me more time and money. So despite me ordering and taking days to install new brake lines I still have old, spliced line running to my driver's side front. I recommend buying from a different supplier.

Good Fit. Great Value.
Got these to replace the rusted out junk factory lines on my 2006 Silverado. The set was missing one of the lines that runs from master cylinder to the ABS block. I contacted Amazon and they sent me another set. I had also contacted Dorman and they were willing to might it right as well. You can't beat service like that. As for the lines. They fit very well. The longer lines are a bit of a struggle to get on. The one that goes from ABS block around the front of motor and to the front right wheel was a challenge. I actually haven't got the rear lines on yet. Those look to be the most difficult. A helper would make the job a lot easier. And I am not a real experienced mechanic. The stainless lines look great and should last longer than the rest of the truck. Why GM didn't put stainless on at the factory is one of life's mysteries. Probably would cost $20 per truck to go stainless versus the raw uncoated steel that they used in 2006.

2003 GMC Sierra 2500hdPlowed for years in the snow with lots of surface rust, rotted out rocker panels the usual stuff but these lines were near too perfect almost exactly what I needed, and I was able to complete the project in one weekend. The most difficult part for me was the way my truck is set up with the gas tank I just had to lift up the bed so I can get the one over on that side of the frame rail other than that highly recommended.

... my 2004GMC Sierra 2500hd and this was so much better and faster than having to mark and bend all ...
I had to replace all the brake lines on my 2004GMC Sierra 2500hd and this was so much better and faster than having to mark and bend all new lines. A few of the lines were a little long is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. Other than that they were a nice product and made the pain in the neck job a little better.

Brake lines
I bought a kit for my truck. One rear line was 1" short had to adjust the bends to stretch it. Two front lines the bends had to be adjusted. But I have working brakes.

Everything fit good except the line that runs over the gas tank ...
This kit is for a extended cab short box although I installed it on a 2004 crew cab short box. The rear bracket that attaches the flex hose from the axle to the frame needs to be moved forward about 6 inches to work on a crew cab. Everything fit good except the line that runs over the gas tank was twisted about 90 degrees which just needed to be twisted back to make the corresponding bends work. Removing the drivers side inner fender and pulling the box makes for an easier install.

Bends were off and some were short
Nice lines all fittings worked but bends were off could be because my truck a base model I had to move the rear rubber line ahead 2 inches same with front passenger and the front driver was 2 inches long but other then that look nice when they're in
