Super easy to use and it works!
Works like a charm if you accidentally shrink your waste a little or you’ve packed on a few pounds *me*

Good product
I recently lost a fair amount of weight and fortunately I had some jeans that I had purchased many years ago and boxed up. I tried them on as I was in a heavier weight category and of course there was a massive gap between the buttonhole and the button.Along my weight loss I had remembered that they were in this box and went to put them on and of course the hole was diminishing. The blue jeans were Levi's and then that day which was about 30 years ago, you didn't have shrink to fit you bought the size larger than what you were going to wear and threw two or three washings the sizes would drop anywhere from one to four pants sizes. These blue jeans were definitely now shrink to fit due to the washing and age though they were in excellent shape.I had tried wetting the entire jeans and putting them on in the shower and then letting him sit out and it did an okay job but then it came to my head that I'm sure there were pants stretchers and of course I bought the one that you see here. Predominantly because it had a cowboy stamp on it because it looked like many of the others.I tried one pair of blue jeans which were the larger set I put the unit together at the waste band side to side and just wet that specific area. Waited a couple of days, put the britches on and they work fine. After that I did the next largest pair and it worked out well. The difference on this one was I tried them button to back in extending. I don't know if it really matters either way. You're going to put strain on the button and buttonhole so be mindful of that for over stretching.Summation, I would definitely say this product did the job that it needed to do and brought life back to the blue jeans I can now fit in and now I no longer have to buy blue jeans. The only problem with not buying new blue jeans is that my cell phone no longer fits in these 30-year-old britches as the pockets are too short LOL. I'm not buying a new jeans I'm just adapting.I suggest you get the product to try and see what you think there are many different extension pieces that are there if you have a larger size need. But within the range of its operation it does its job and it'll be a standard use for us in the future. For the record? I have no intention on gaining that excess weight back. It's been a tough patch getting it done and it's going to be an easier patch to keep it going.I hope you enjoy this product and blessings to all..

GREAT Product... however
This is a sturdy product that works well. However, it would be nice to have a better "hand grip" style on the center bolt to move it outwards to stretch. A hand turning a turnbuckle is just not comfortable and you can't get it to stretch but so far with what strength & grip you have. Other than needing a wrench to stretch it where you want, great product.

Completely Awesome!!!!
Followed the information and advice left by other purchasers. Got a good 1.5 inch stretch on a pair of firehose heavy pants. This really saved a pair of fairly expensive pants.Excellent!!!

It works, but could be improved
I got this to stretch out the waist and hip area of a jumpsuit. It really did not work very well for that. I can see it would work better for a pair of jeans/pants. I actually used it to stretch out a bra that got a little tight, and it worked. I just made sure the underwires in front were set in a position where they were not stretched; only the back of the bra was stretched. So, yes, this product does work depending on what you need it for, and it is a high quality product (workmanship = excellent!). However, there are a couple of things I think would be an improvement to make this a four or five star product:1. Measurement markers. I want to be able to stretch my clothing out the same each time, whether it’s the same item or a different one. Or perhaps I have some clothing that is a little smaller than others — having a measurement of some sort would be great to keep track of things.2. Spring tension. After getting the stretcher to fit, sometimes you need just a little more or less. Having a spring tension of sorts would give it that extra push (or extra release) it needs. All in all, a good product, it just depends on what you need it for!

Biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased!
Crap, crap, crap poorly designed and cheaply made . The devise cannot be assembled since the threads don't line up properly, One end screws together perfectly ( counter clockwise) on the other end that screws together clockwise It will not seat the extension with the half moon wood that stretches the fabric. I will simply to to either Lowes or Home Depot and purchase some wood clamps to do the task of stretching the fabric.

Does the job, well made
Like others have said, it is best to stretch your pants straight out of the washing machine. I tried this on several pairs of very tight in the waist heavy weight blue jeans. They in fact were stretched where they became wearable again. Perhaps they went up to one size larger on the first try. You can put a lot of pressure on the stretcher by using a wrench, but I just made it very hand tight. I let them drip dry, no dryer. I think from now on I will skip using a dryer altogether even though I always removed the jeans when damp. If you save one pair of jeans alone, this will be worth the price.

Works!!
Stretched 3 pairs of jeans that were literally cutting me in half. One pair’s button and hole had a ‘long distance relationship’ and had been separated for a few years. After two rounds of ‘stretchings’, the jeans fit normally. This stretcher paid for itself in one day!I tried stretching some Dockers….. not as successful unfortunately. The stretcher tore the hole apart as well as pulling the button off the first pair. I took a second pair of Dockers and followed instructions using a Vise Grip to hold waistband (at button) to relieve pressure. The Vise Grip simply tore through the waistband. Bottom line, this pant stretcher works beautifully on jeans, but needs multiple smaller stretchings for anything else. Definitely not suitable for dress pants.

Very bad
One screw doesn't work. The thread is just so bad didn't even fit.

Works as described - not the best for smaller sizes.
This pant stretcher works as described. Just wet your pants waist and then insert the stretcher at the size you want and then wait for the pants to dry! The stretcher seems to be quite sturdy - solid wood and metal parts. My only minimal issue is that it won't always fit smaller waists. For example, it fit in the waist of mid-rise size 26 women's jeans but was too big on it's smaller setting for a high rise size 25 women's jeans. To resolve this, I just turned one of the wood blocks sideways. It stretches a bit un-evenly this way so it just took a bit more time to rotate which side of the waist band was stretched with the full block of wood. I would recommend this if you need to stretch a pair of pants a size!
