The part was of high quality and totally repaired my iPhone 4s. However... The tools were worthless, did not resemble those pictured, and even came with a note admitting that the tools might be a little bit too small or tool large, but that they are a gift and should not prompt the purchaser to leave neutral or negative feedback about the part. I purchased the part at what I considered to be a "premium price" because the tools were included. Instead I had to obtain tools from elsewhere to complete the job. So neutral feedback it is for this vendor. And if they wish to avoid such feedback in the future they should make the included tool gift disclaimer part of the upfront pre-purchase product description instead of including it as a post-purchase plea for positive feedback.

My wife dropped her phone in the toilet. She grabbed it really quick and dried it out, but there were some weird issues with it.The speaker would not work while playing music or during games, only during a phone call.If you have the phone NOT on vibrate, then you don't hear the clicks when you hit buttons.I took the phone to the Apple store where they said that there was water damage in the dock connector and some in the headphone jack, but mostly in the dock connector. Off-warranty cost to replace = $199I find myself quite handy, so I figured I might as well try to fix this thing myself. I found the Black USB charging port for iPhone 4s by GoodCity here on Amazon and loved that they included all of the tools that you would need (3 main ones for this job, the pentalobe screwdriver, plastic pry tool and the small screwdriver).I watched a repair video on youtube (by ifixit, it's for a iPhone 4, but there was only two small differences in extra pieces). The video is like 4 minutes but it tool me 90 minutes to do the change (not really that hard, just really small pieces that you don't want to lose).One note is that you should put the connector into place before removing the the pads that cover the adhesive.

The cable was about 2 mm too long. So this had to be crammed into the case. The trim on the upper big black connector near the battery was not completely trimmed on the outside, so i had to smash it onto the connector. Bad tolerance/QC. But it works now. Caveat Emptor. The positives were that it came with the adhesive. Watch out when removing the back case - the stanchions for the exterior screws are very fragile. Pay attention to the youtube videos.

All the other connectors I ordered didn't include adhesive in all the right spots and didn't have the white dots covering components like the OEM stuff.This one was just like OEM and works great.

It works. For this price, I got the full set of tools and cable to fix my phone. Comparing the cable itself to the original iphone cable, the quality is acceptable for a reasonable price.

Avoid this product. I got the back panel off my iPhone and that's as far as I could go because the cheap phillips screwdriver they provided is too big for the screws!

Only worked for a week, had to modify the speakers to make it fit because the ribbon cable was too short.

It didn't even fit right.
