Good value Vs Local H/W Stores
Used these in a Rebuild of my pool pump equipment so that I'll be able to replace components without redoing the piping next time.

Perfect for DIY irrigation work that I use near my valve controllers
I love the way that you can install these, and then still be able to remove the value or replace the value if something goes wrong.Works well, holds strong and keeps the water in.

OK for homeowners, but professional should avoid
So, the positive on these is that they are very solid, and appear to be made at or near Schedule 80 standards. They use an extra-large rubber washer, and seal tightly. They’re a perfect match for 2” PVC.The problem is that there are no specs on them. None. Literally, there is not a single, letter, number, or word anywhere on the union that defines any spec they meet. Not even the intended pipe size is embossed on it.So what does that mean? As a homeowner I’ve worked with a lot of PVC fittings, and I feel that these are well-made and that they’ll work fine, but I would avoid these if I were a professional plumber. Without any form of rating, it’s not worth introducing that risk to your business or your clients.

fast shipping Easy assembly
Used these on a 175 gallon IBC water totes. So glad I included this in the design to be able to take the water lines off if ever needed.

The union is strong
These are very well made, PVC feels top quality, screwing as unscrewing the union is a charm, nice rotation, it doesn't get stuck on the thread. As for durability, time will tell... I'll update if they go bad

Works Well!
These 2" PVC unions work great to make pumps serviceable (i.e. pool pumps) or to do repairs to your water line. I have a 2" service water line from my meter to the back side of my property, about 700' of 2" line. I also use these to do repairs at my T junctions since 2" PVC doesn't like to flex like 3/4". I haven't had any leaks from my use of these unions and would recommend.

Easy Way To Join 2 Pipes
I got 2 of these in the 2-inch inner diameter size. The plumbing on my backyard pond is all 2-inch PVC, both the rigid and flexible kind. These couplings fit both types. They're a great way to join 2 pieces of pipe. I used PVC glue to make a permanent bond between the outer coupling and the pipe itself, then screwed the 2 halves together. I used a big set of pliers to tighten the threaded ring, but was careful just to make it leakproof -- don't overdo it.The water is pumped under pressure so these fittings need to bear that without any leaks. They do the job.

Great for pool plumbing
I needed this to make the plumbing between my pool pump and filter modular so that I can put the pump away for the winter. My local Home Depot has a pathetic plumbing section, so Amazon to the rescue.
