This product came highly recommended by the vet where my daughter works. He says it’s a much more effective product than the popular glucosamine joint supplements I’ve been giving our dogs over the years. Our dogs love the taste but it’s hard to say definitively, after just a couple of months, that their joints are healthier or that they’re experiencing less joint pain. But, they do appear to be moving easier and running more. They’re nine and eleven years old and the eleven year old is a sixty pound Australian Shepherd mix that was starting to struggle getting up from a laying down position. I think it’s getting a little easier for her. Maybe some more time on the Movoflex will help her continue to improve. The product is much more expensive than the original supplements I was giving them but I feel if it can make a noticeable improvement in their mobility and comfort then I really can’t deny them that!

My vet recommended Movoflex to me 20 years ago for my beagle that began getting arthritis; I would pick it up once a month at the office. Fast forward a couple decades and Mrs. AbbaZabba has a Shepherd/Lab mix, who has the energy and play of a puppy (which she is not). The pooch was show signs of stiffness and arthritis and Mrs. AbbaZabba had already added a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement to the diet. I suggested this and, after a week, both seemed to notice the improvement. The dog eats it as if it were any other treat and has come to expect it with her morning feeding. Cold mornings are no longer stiff and creaky and the pooch's hips haven't disintegrated as she passes a decade. Overall, for $1/day, the convenience of Subscribe & Save, and helping keep the dog as healthy and playful as can be, it's 5 stars.

I am a strong proponent of Movaflex! I used Movaflex on my last Large Doberman due to vet recommendation, and it DID help his hip function in a noticeable way. Now with my current Doberman has been on Movaflex since she was a puppy, and she will use it for the rest of her life. Now, my (same vet) will tell people they can use glucosamine which is a cheaper option, but I'll pay more for the benefits to my dogs health... This is a must have for dogs with the potential for hip issues and all large dogs their whole life.

I've got an 8 year-old boxer that has always been very active. As he's gotten older, he still thinks he's a puppy and still plays hard, regardless of the consequences. I've noticed him being stiff when he wakes up more and more often, and it's not uncommon to see him walk with a limp after playing really hard. He does daycare a his vet's office five or six days per week while I'm at work so he's always on the move. I decided to look for a joint supplement and two things really drew me to trying Movoflex. First, it seems like a good product that vets recommend. I actually ran across it as a recommendation on PetMD, and then started looking for other references to it. Everything I found was positive. The second, but no less important factor was that it seems to be well-tolerated by picky eaters. You can stick a pill in a whole hotdog and Brody will eat the hotdog, then spit the pill out. He's not having it. He will turn his nose up at anything he thinks is medicine. So I bought this product knowing I may be wasting $60, but it was worth a try. On the latter point, thankfully, he really, really likes these. He gets mad if I forget to put it in his food bowl in the morning and starts sniffing around the table looking for it. It smells pretty bad to me, but it doesn't linger after he eats it, and dogs do like smelly stuff. One down. As for effectiveness, he's been on it for a few weeks now, and I have noticed he doesn't seem stiff at all when he gets up. He also hasn't limped since a few days in. So it does appear to be having a positive effect. The only negative I can think of is that his stool did get a little soft for a few days, and that could be from the slight change to his diet, or it could have just been something unrelated. It's been back to normal since then, though. I wouldn't say it's been a night and day change in him, because again, he has always had high energy. His stiffness was relatively minor to begin with. But so far it does appear to be working, and I'll take that. If he's feeling good, I'm feeling good. Hopefully, this will help keep him happy and active for many years to come.

We honestly thought we'd have to put our old guy down, but with giving him one of these a day, he's feeling better and younger again. We can tell if he misses a day as he'll have more mobility issues then he does if we stay on top of things. He loves the taste and they're nice and soft, easy for older dogs to chew.

Works great only problem is my dog doesn't like the smell

My dog was put on this by our veterinarian, and our dog looks forward to getting one every morning. We honestly believe, they work!! Very convenient getting the from Amazon. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommended by my vet for improved mobility in my 10 year old lab. Changed from glucosamine supplement to this and she is doing well on it.
