After doing some googling, I saw that Braun has a reputation for top-notch and high quality coffee makers. I decided to give the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee maker a go, and I am very happy I did! It is a good looking appliance, stylish, sturdy and well built.It has 7 programmed brewing sizes as follows: 5oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, half carafe (25oz) or full carafe (50oz). A full carafe holds five 10oz cups of coffee, which is pretty standard. It can brew an entire carafe "in less than 8 minutes," which I can verify is indeed true. I typically drink a 16oz mug of coffee every morning. Using the Gold option, my coffee comes out PERFECT. It tastes amazing, and the temperature is just right IMO (I have seen some reviews state it is not hot enough). It finished my 16oz mug in 3.5 minutes after hitting start.I have to note here, I wasn't specifically looking for a coffee maker that makes cold brew coffee, but now that I have one, I am thrilled! I love it. It makes cold brew in less than 15 minutes. This would take FOREVER doing it other ways, so in the past I have rarely made it myself. I think this might be new favorite thing about this coffee maker, frankly. I have already used this feature several times, and I've only had the coffee maker about a week.Though I usually prefer freshly ground beans, I am happy to report that it is fully programmable. Using the Auto on function, you can set the machine to brew coffee up to 24 hours in advance, which is definitely useful for those days you know you are going to be in a hurry the next morning. You can also change the amount of time it keeps the carefe warm after coffee is made, from 15 minutes all the way up to 4 hours. The warmer turns on automatically if you select a half or a full carafe. You can also turn it off/on manually. I tested out the auto program to see how easy it was, and it worked perfectly, and was very simple.Finally, it has a 3 year warranty coverage to ensure lasting performance. This definitely gives me confidence that, unlike my last coffee maker brand that broke a month after 1 year warranty ended, this coffee maker is going to last me long time! Companies don't offer 3 year warranties often, and when they do, it means the item is built to LAST.TLDR: I am enthusiastically satisfied with this coffee maker. It makes amazing coffee, easy and quick, has plenty of options, and is built to LAST. I have already recommended it to a few friends/family members.

I am so excited about my new Braun coffee machine that will make COLD BREW in 13 minute This is going to be game changer for summer in Alabama's. I love being able to make a single cup of coffee or a pot of coffee. So many options that it eliminates several other appliances that I have. It is a standard that has to meet rigorous technical requirements using the black filter basket. I did notice that the coffee pot is taller than our drip coffee maker. I have a super cute coffee station in the corner of our kitchen. I love it! Let’s make coffee!Fill the reservoir with water. I have a tap that provides reversed osmosis water. However the charcoal filter is wonderful for someone that is using tap water. To have good quality filtered water. I used 11 small scoops of coffee to make 22oz of cold brew coffee in the carafe. Placed scoops of coffee into the gold tone filter. Choose beverage size selector to half carafe. Pressed control panel to choose cold brew. Turned the lever to coffee to begin process. Cold brew coffee finished. I prepared coffee per my preferences, sugar and milk. I then added 30% ice as recommended in the directions voilà! Refreshing, tasty, fast, satisfying cold brew coffee. The. time on the Braun multiserve coffee maker I started at 11:40am and finished completely at 12:02pm. It only took 22 minutes even with me providing you instructions. The instruction says it takes 13 minutes to make the cold brew. I am very excited that it was quick and Not 3 days like a cold brew pitcher.Yes, I recommend this product

When I received my coffee pot from Amazon, the box the machine arrived in was badly damaged. There were holes throughout the box and the side of the box looked like someone had dropped it on its side and then ran it over. The machine itself seemed to be intact enough to leave a review though. Upon setting it up it seemed high quality. The multiple brew and serving options were appreciated. I brewed my first pot on the gold setting and was quite impressed. It gave my coffee a taste that seemed true to how it should have tasted all this time. I never experienced the true flavor of my favorite coffee brand with my last coffee machine which was evident when brewing with this machine. I also like the temperature options. I can keep my coffee warm in the pot for 15 minutes or up to 4 hours. The 3 year coverage warranty is a nice addition. This machine delivers optimal brewing performance in every cup by calculating the precise water flow, temperature, and speed for every coffee preference and that's nice because my entire household drinks coffee and all has their own preferences. It brews a pot of hot coffee in under 8 minutes and a cold brew in under 13 so it seems like it has everything to like, but then I realized that it requires special paper filters to brew the coffee and a charcoal filter that has to be changed monthly, which I don't think I would keep up with. For those reasons. I would personally go with a different machine that requires less maintenance. After less than a week of owning this, the machine is no longer keeping my coffee warm. I do not recommend this coffee machine whatsoever.

I just recently got into iced coffee and this machine is just perfect. I don’t have to have separate coffee makers for everything that I want to brew. This Braun Multiserve gives me all my options in one machine. You have the convenience of just brewing one cup at a time or just turning the dial and brewing a carafe. And I now have the choice of a cold brew. What could be better? It takes about 13 to 14 minutes for that cold brew and it taste great. The warm weather is here and I’m drinking a lot more iced coffee. Don’t get me wrong. I still like my hot coffee. This machine gives me options and how much I want to brew and how I want to brew. If I just want a cup or if I want more than a cup, I have that choice all on this one machine. I can use the carafe and still adjust how much coffee I want to make. I definitely appreciate that. The other thing I’m totally in love with is that this machine has enough space to accommodate my big travel mug. This is a game changer for me. I also like the fact that the parts are dishwasher safe, especially the carafe. I don’t run my dishwasher every day, so my only complaint is there’s no way to totally remove, the cover of the carafe to get your hand in there and clean it. All in all this is a great machine and it also has a three-year warranty.

After using this coffee maker, I have been extremely impressed! The first notable feature I love about this product is its sleek, stainless steel design. This gives the coffee maker a very refined and elegant look. The next notable feature to point out about this coffee maker is its water reservoir size. The water reservoir holds a total of fifty ounces, allowing me to have ample amounts of coffee for guests. Another great feature about this coffee pot is all of the different brewing modes that are included. The “Cold Brew” mode is able to make the perfect cold brew beverage in just thirteen minutes. The machine practically does all of the work itself. The strength of the cold brew has also been fairly strong. The next mode on this coffee pot is the “Over Ice” mode. This mode helps to quickly brew a strong cup (or pot) of coffee over a cup of ice. Because of its strength however, the ice does not seem to water the coffee down. The next mode, which is perhaps my favorite, is the “Gold” mode. This is essentially the go-to mode for your perfect pot of coffee. The coffee will have a great balance of flavor (but at the same time, will not be so strong that you can’t taste anything). This mode is pretty solid in perfecting my morning coffee. The final mode, the “Bold” mode, is exactly as it sounds. This mode provides a slower, deeper brew for those that want a richer cup of coffee. I find this mode to be best for extracting the maximum amount of flavor from the coffee. Another convenient and notable feature worth pointing out is the auto on feature. This enables me to specify the specific time I want my coffee to brew. The system also has an auto off feature. An additional benefit to this machine is the ability to select a brew size. You can brew anything from five ounces up to fifty ounces. This is perfect for ensuring I brew just the right amount of coffee, while eliminating any wasted coffee. Finally, I have loved how the machine stops when I remove my coffee pot, preventing messes. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this coffee maker and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a truly customizable cup of coffee that’s sure to leave you feeling recharged.

I owned an older BRAUN model 3107 12-cup BrewSense unit. It was a decent unit, although all plastic, it was well made. I was searching for an all stainless steel unit and willing to pay for it but there isn't one in existence (I don't understand why noone makes one). Braun has a good reputation and I decided to try their newest model, although all plastic it says it has a ceramic heating element and some stainless steel. I dont see any stainless steel anywhere, unless its inside the unit. Also it makes ice coffee.I received the unit 2 hours ago, the Amazon shipping box was intack but the unit box was ripped on the sides and one corner. That was clearly an indication that the unit was mishandled. I opened the box and noticed the unit was upside down. I removed the unit and it looked like the original wrapping was not removed. I unwrapped the unit and all the parts, assembled everything and noticed the unit was not sitting level on the counter. Upon further examination I noticed the warmer plate base was bent with a visible dent on bottom right of the warmer plate. I decided to put some felt on the bottom of the unit to level it and try it out. I was very disappointed with unit as follows :1. Unit is made with cheap plastic, very flimsy2. Quality wise, no comparison to the older model3. There is a Stop Drip lever. If you forget to set it and pull the carafe out while coffee is brewing it will keep dripping all over the counter. Why would you install this? It baffles my mind. This is the first coffee maker I've ever seen that does not have an auto stop drip when the carafe is removed.4. The coffee filter basket cover is made with cheap thin plastic and while coffee is brewing, it gets very very hot. Steam is coming out of all sides of the coffee basket. I dont see how this will not leak plastic into the coffee. Over time this plastic cover will melt for sure.5. Coffee taste - I made half a carafe of coffee using the measurement recommendations on gold setting and the coffee tasted very strong, bitter and 'plasticky'.I was very disappointed with this unit from Braun. I decided to keep the unit and try it some more and figure out all the settings and will report back soon.

We purchased this Braun MultiServe coffee system to replace our Cuisinart 2-in-1, which failed after only nine months of use. Although this unit lacks a K-Cup feature, it is thoughtfully designed to accommodate single-serving brewing.The machine is exceptionally well-constructed. While the included instructions could be more intuitive, they remain clear enough to follow. We carefully adhered to the initial break-in and cleaning protocols, starting with a two-cup brew in the carafe followed by a full-pot brew the next morning. In both instances, the machine produced an excellent cup of coffee, though individual results may vary based on personal preference.The system includes all necessary accessories, such as coffee and water filters. A particularly convenient feature is the included coffee scoop, which is graduated for one and two-spoon measurements and features an integrated bag clamp. The water reservoir is removable, making it simple to clean and fill, and the central placement of the water filter is well-designed. The programming function is straightforward; after setting the timer, we woke up to a perfectly brewed, fresh pot of coffee right on schedule. Furthermore, after ten full pots, the carafe has performed flawlessly with no dripping or spilling. While we were accustomed to 12-cup brewers, we have found that this 10-cup model suits our needs even better. I don't do iced coffee so I can't comment on that function.

I forgot why I dislike Braun coffee makers until I ordered and started using this guy.It looks very nice and does have some handy features, but there are issues, and on balance I really should have just ordered another of the same cheap drip maker which this rather more expensive purchase replaced.- No matter what I do, I can only get the 'Cold Brew' feature to produce hot coffee. In truth I don't really even drink cold brew, but I do know it's not supposed to be hot. That's why it's called 'Cold Brew.'- The drip/stop mechanism, which is supposed to prevent coffee from continuing to drip out if you remove the carafe to pour yourself a cup while it's still brewing, worked for about two days and then never again since. Coffee just keeps dripping out anyway.- The carafe lid is the same as with another Braun pot I once had - it pops off the carafe at the drop of a hat. It's designed to snap back on, but over time this puts a lot of wear and tear on the little part which fastens it in place and eventually, too soon, the lid will break just like it did on my old Braun pot.- The thing has a *damnably* piercing 'ready' beep which is the last thing, short of an air raid siren, than anybody wants to hear first thing in the morning. And it makes this egregious noise not only when it's done brewing, but pretty much anytime you touch any button on it. I'm not joking -- it's *loud.*- Despite the fact that this thing draws way more power than any other drip pot I've ever had, it doesn't make particularly hot coffee. If you insist on scalding hot coffee, you won't like it.I could go on. Anyway, it's a decent machine, but it has several notable design problems, it *looks* better than it *works*, and I can't really recommend it over competitors.

Excellent coffee maker. Makes very good coffee, whether a cup, half pot or pot. Have not had any issues with the temperature like in some reviews - comes out hot. When making a pot, the warmer stays on for 2 hours and the clock turns into a timer. At 2 hours what’s left in the pot is still warm, not as hot as when first made but I would not expect that. We like the choice for different sizes, but you just have to remember to change the size selection, so I put on a little sticker as a reminder.

I purchased this in Feb.2025 and at first it was great. Within 2 months the programmable feature quit working. I clean it on a regular basis however I continue to have issues with it saying that I need to add water when it is full. I've been limping it along because of the price I paid however I'm now looking for a new coffee maker. Don't waste your $$$ on this one. Great at first but very quickly turned into a dud.
