After a month of daily usage I am happy to comment
I did a fair amount of research before buying. This one looked good from an engineering point of view, even went to a few stores to check the actual units. There were a few negative reviews but I decided to proceed with the purchase. One of the better decision I have made. For my required use this unit is fantastic! Its quite expensive but if it lasts and it is good technology then I would consider it worth the price. However I did want to answer some of the negative reviews for the benefit of others who might be considering purchasing. Everyone is entitled to their views of course but so am I!First I am mostly a fruit person ( I mean that literally... no puns please! ), I intend to move to vegetables as well but I bought for fruit so my comments, at the moment, relate to this.Rule number one for anything that contains raw fruit pith and bits. Wash up before you drink.... if you remove the bits immediately this unit will very likely last for a long time, if not you will constantly be trying to remove glued on bits of fruit... a long and thankless task even for a dishwasher. Also something very nice about sitting down to a drink with no cleaning up to do afterwards!Use the included brush to clean the cutting and filtering metal gauze. It is imperative you clean this straight away otherwise efficiency will deteriorate very quickly.Rinse everything first in cold water then wash in warm soapy water then rinse again in cold. As a result no dishwasher needed.... whatever they say dishwashers ruin the plastic bits. I have had several food processors that are testament to this.If you don't like the bits in fruit juice, leave it in a glass or china jug in the fridge for a while and it will separate! (Not rocket science) I personally love the bits, makes me feel like I am really drinking a fruit juice! Before taking the jug from the machine take off the lid and turn the little rubber spout to point upwards.... no drips or limited drips.Don't overload the hopper, don't over fill the output jug and run at lowest speed you can get away with.By the way I am not an employee of the supplier! I am just an engineer who likes well made kitchen technology.

Tips on how to use your Juicer
Rather than doing a product review, which others what done in abundance I am going to give you some tips on how to use this great Juicer. The first thing that confused when I started using the juicer is the rubber tap that goes where the juice comes out. Well the user manual doesn't say anything about it and as far as I can tell it shouldn't be used during juice extraction process. If you use it faced down during juice extraction the juice will come out at 90 degrees and it's likely to generate splash inside the Juice Jug. And since the Juice Jug is not water tight it will splash out. It is much better to leave the rubber tap out while you extract juice. Then take the Juice Jug Lid and place the rubber tap facing up. This will prevent the juice still coming down the pipe to come out and go into your kitchen top. I try to fill the Juice Jug as much as I can, but eventually you need to empty it as otherwise the juice coming out will slash out. I found the best way to remove the Juice Jug without disassembling the unit is not to turn the Juice Jug side ways (as you may drop some juice) but to turn the whole unit sideways to the left. You only need to lift the unit a little bit for the Juice Jug to go free. As many others (and the user manual suggests) you should place a plastic bag into the pulp container to collect the pulp and avoid having to wash it up. Supermarket carrier bags seem to be the perfect size.Washing up tips:Once you finished using the juicer you must wash it up ASAP. Failing to do so will make the job much harder later. Dried up fruit (especially citrics like orange) is very difficult to remove. The easiest way to disassemble the unit for ashing up is to remove the Safety Locking Arm and then lift the whole Pulp Container, Juicer Cover, etc (without the Juice Jug and the base unit) and take it to the sink. Once there wash the items normally. The trickiest bit to wash is the Stainless Steel Micro Mesh Filter. I found the following process works best. First wash up the filter with washing up liquid and a sponge. Now place the filter up side down at the bottom of your sink. Using the brush provided and some washing up liquid brush the outside side of the mesh all around. Don't be afraid of using force, the mesh is very strong. Now turn around the filter and place it sideways so that the mesh part of the filter is touching the bottom of your sink. Clean the inside part of the mesh with the brush by rotating the filter until you covered it. Again don't be afraid of using force, the mesh is very strong. Using this process is the only way I found that the filter is properly clean after use and that the filtering properties are not reduced. Enjoy!

Not worth the money
Looks great in your kitchen but is poorly designed and fails to live up to the price tag. I've now had 2 of these from Amazon. The first started to splatter fruit all over my kitchen so they swapped it for me. The second whilst it doesn't splatter as much, still does it and has now developed a fault 2 months in. What used to be a slightly noisy juicer now sounds like a petrol strimmer that would spontaneously obliterate anything in its path. The juicer itself is made really well, sturdy metals and a sleek design but that's really where it ends. The blade simply spins so fast even on level 1 that it causes all the juice to froth and seperate too quickly. I've never had any need to use levels 3-5 as its that powerful. Yes I knew it wasn't a slow press machine before I bought it, however the pace of this thing is too much for solo apples and cucumbers. The plastic tub at the rear is where this design really fails. The pulp fires backwards at warp speed and gets stuck in the plastic curved top from the juicer and the flimsy grey container. Both my juicers had a small gap so that when this super sonic fruit is chucked out, it scatters all over my wall and rest of the kitchen. Such a shame it's got this flawed design as the juicer is the best looking one I've seen, but there are probably better ones for half the money around.
