Mpow Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver/Transmitter with aptX Low Latency in RX/TX, Bluetooth Wireless Audio Adapter with Digital Optical SPDIF for TV and Home Stereo System, Black

So let me start by saying that I did not purchase this product. I had initially purchased the product identified below:Mpow Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver and Transmitter, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Audio Adapter, Pairing with 2 Bluetooth Headphones At Once In TX Mode, Built-in Mic for Hands-free Calling in RX Mode (MPBH045AB-PTX-1)There were some issues with the product I mentioned above and after speaking with the Patozon's customer service team, they sent me this product for some reason:Mpow Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver/Transmitter with aptX Low Latency in RX/TX, Bluetooth Wireless Audio Adapter with Digital Optical SPDIF for TV and Home Stereo System, Black (PAMPBH108AB-USAA3)Being the optimist I am, I tried looking into the good in how I can use this product and make use of this item sent to me from the Patozon's customer service team for issues I was having with the product I initially ordered.The reason I initially looked for a TX/RX solution was because I was looking to resuscitate my 6th Generation iPod Classic and give it a wireless capability, which is why I ordered product# MPBH045AB-PTX-1, but was given a replacement for product#PAMPBH108AB-USAA3. Despite mentioning this to the Patozon's customer service team member, they insisted I review this product and let them know all was well.This product (PAMPBH108AB-USAA3) is a terrible wireless solution for any purpose. I tried it on the move and the size of this thing is like carrying an Amazon Echo Dot with you everywhere you go. To top that off, the battery life last close to 2 hours only if you're lucky and using it on the lowest volume setting. After seeing how awful of a time I was having with it on the move and in my vehicle, I tried this as a wireless solution for some computer speakers I had rigged up to a TV and it was even worse. There was a huge amount of delay in the audio where it didn't sync with whatever you'd be watching. I do not recommend this product at all. Its bulky and the larger build of the device isn't justified with any sort of unique features that you can get for another device that would perform the same and be a fraction of the size at nearly the same cost or less.If you are thinking about getting this product. DON'T. Its simply not very good

UPDATE 04/24/2019:After posting my initial review I received an email from the distributor within 48 hours, notifying me that they’ve sent me a replacement unit and I should be receiving it shortly.It was delivered today and I hooked it up immediately, enlisting my teenage son to inspect its connection to ensure it was done correctly. I am happy to say it is working properly and I’m very pleased with both the product and the customer service. I look forward to getting many hours of use out of it. My faith in Mpow has been restored. LolI purchased this item over a year ago, so I could listen to the tv after my husband has gone to bed. I’ve tried off and on every couple of months and I’ve never been able to get it to work. The green light comes on when it pairs with my Mpow headphones, but no matter where it’s plugged into my tv....nothing. Mpow products have always been very high quality for my family, we have many. This one just fell flat. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can pair my headphones with multiple devices EXCEPT this one.UPDATE:I'm changing this from 1 star to 2 stars due to the excellent customer support. Unfortunately, I can't go over two because this never worked. They sent me a second unit for free. The light indicated it had paired with my headphones, but there was no sound. On subsequent attempts, there wasn't even an indication that it had paired. I can pair my headphones with my Amazon Firestick, my laptop and my Bluetooth MP3 player in a matter of seconds. Just not this unit.
