Fantastic quality - works as advertised and great buy
Fantastic product for the price. Exceptional build quality and long battery life. I have been using this wireless microphone in a church setting at least once a week for the past 2 months mounted on my music stand to amplify my acoustic mandolin. Sound quality is great in that environment. Pros: Build quality, battery life, volume and sound quality, USB-C charging ports, battery level on transmitter, no interference, easy to read display. The microphone cable connection to the transmitter is perfect! Microphone is incredibly sensitive and picks up sound very well. (I only tested the clip-on mic and not the headset mic.) Cons: Power button, mute, and channel buttons are too close together. Too easy to power off the unit or change channel when trying to mute the microphone. (I think the channel button should be on the bottom and small because channels are not something I change on a regular basis. The power button should be on the top, and only the mute button on the side.) Receiver should have a better indicator for battery charge level. There is no volume control but this is not that important as I control volume on the mixer panel. That said, making a small quick adjustment on the transmitter is not possible. Bottom line: Great portable microphone if remote volume control is not needed and one is careful about the buttons being pressed. Great purchase.

Wedding mic AMAZING
I loved this microphone system! The setup was super simple, and everything worked right out of the box. The sound quality is excellent — clear, consistent, and professional. I’ve used it for karaoke nights and small events, and it hasn’t let me down. The mini receiver is compact and convenient, especially for portable setups, and the bodypack transmitter feels sturdy and reliable. I also appreciated the 15 available UHF channels — no interference issues at all, even when using it in busy environments like churches or event halls. The included headset and lapel mic give you flexibility depending on your needs. Both are comfortable and deliver solid audio performance. Overall, this system is an amazing value for the price. Highly recommend it for singers, presenters, weddings, and more!

Great wireless sound,
I have only used this once so far, but I love it. I like to go to an open mic regularly, but I hate to be tied to a stationary microphone. I had an inferior wireless option that bit the dust. I found this unit to be super easy to understand and put together. I love it because it is wireless. No need to worry about replacing batteries for the headset option. It worked wonderfully for me, and has great sound. This is a great option for one looking for mobile options while performing, and an affordable option!

Great unit at excellent price!!
Hey everyone. It’s that time again. Review time. I recently received the PDP-1-1B Digital UHF Single Wireless Microphone System. Best feature is the price. Priced under $60 this unit is affordable for anyone needing a handsfree Mic Unit. This unit came very well packaged with everything easy to get to and set up. It comes with a 1/4 inch plug in receiver, body pack and 2 microphone choices, headset and lapel. These units are very well made of metal and a good weight. The beauty of this unit is, it is rechargeable, no need to keep buying batteries with this unit. Once plates in its very easy yo get your channel set on the unit and start using. It has a very good sound quality with both microphone choices, I prefer the headset as it has less wind noise or extra sound coming from bumping it or clothes brushing it. The headset set could be using for singing where your hands need to be free such as drummers, piano players, or basically any instrumentalist, dancers such as in musicals, or the actors in plays. So in other words it is very versatile. I would highly recommend this unit especially for DJ’s needing something for weddings, traveling preachers wanting their own headset mic, churches with limit space in the sound room, schools needing headset mics for speakers in large groups settings. And of course any theatre where ease of set of for performers is needed. Only negative is the booklet in the Bo’s with instructions and information is very small and extremely hard to read. Overall rating of a 8.5 out of 10.

Honest Review!
I was excited to get my hands on the Phenyx Pro PDP-1-1B single wireless microphone system, as I am an owner of several of their higher end products, and was curious how such an affordable mic system would sound. Design: The first thing I noticed, right out of the box, was the hefty feel of the transmitter and receiver. Unlike body packs on their more expensive units, these felt much stronger and more like a metal design versus plastic. Sound Quality: While product build, durability, and strength is important. Sound is at center stage here. So let's dive in. The headset performs very well. Some basic eq’ing, to roll off low end rumble and high frequency feedback, is necessary. Distance was good, so was clarity, And, worked well through obstacles like walls. The lavalier microphone, while functional when positioned close to the mouth, was not very reliable if clipped in it's intended placement. The level was to low, and you couldn't bring up the gain without causing major feedback problems. Final Verdict: While not a fan of the lavalier, the headset microphone performance was quite substantial for around $50. Plus the plug and play functionality makes this very easy to use, without the need of an audio engineering degree. Possible suggested use applications...karaoke, church, business presentation.

Works well and quality is excellent. Minor inconveniences.
It worked right out of the box, and it's dead silent in mute mode. No pilot tone! Sound quality is good. Output level is off the chart. It has to go into the aux Jack rather than the mic Jack. That's all right in my current use case, but I will build an inline attenuator for some purposes, because my smaller PA has only have one aux input that might have other uses. Professionally packaged, all cords you could want are with it, including a really nice quarter inch right angle adapter but I thought I was going to have to buy separately. Update after a couple of weeks of use: I am still quite happy. Phenyx tech support promptly answered a question I raised about using two separate sets near each other. You can do this so long as they are on different channels. I will mention four minor issues. 1) the right-angle connector is a good idea, but I don't have clearance for it on my equipment. I still need a short M-F cord to allow the receiver to be repositioned. 2) I have tested battery life to be about 5 hours. In a performance yesterday, the actor's session ran 5 1/2 hours and the transmitter was on the "flashing empty warning", but the transmitter did continue to work. 3) Putting the channel select button next to the mute button was a terrible design mistake. I had to punch a hole in a small adhesive disk and place it to shield the channel selector from an accidental press. 4) Phenyx does not sell a small field-use carrying case for just the receiver, transmitter and mic -- and that is exactly what I need for traveling light into outdoor shows. The cardboard box is nicely set out but not suitable for the field. I am having difficulty locating a minimal travel case that will either hold the existing foam rectangle or ideally hold both parts in a smaller case without bending the antennae.

Quality set up, no interference with other Phenyx Pro wireless devices
As our band continues to explore new wireless solutions for performances and events and ultimately cutting the cord, we recently added the Phenyx Pro PDP-1B, to our lineup. First Impressions and Packaging as seen in the pictures : I don’t know maybe it’s just me. I think I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but I really like their packaging. Out of the box, I was impressed by the build of the mics and the receiver. They are pretty solid. It was easy to set up after a quick charge. You could see in the picture you simply plug the receiver it into a quarter inch jack on the soundboard. I’d say one thing that is still to be determined is the battery life. One of the things I like most about the Phenyx Pro IEM’s ( PTM-33 and PTM-10 ) is that the body packs take AA batteries and we can switch them on the fly if needed during a gig. This has the convenience of a dual USB-C charging cord, but I don’t know what the battery length is as I have not tested it to failure yet. Although we would typically not use this this microphone during a gig for vocals. I did test it and did not have any interference with all of the other devices in our bands gear. We’ve incorporated several other Phenyx Pro devices into our setup, including our PTM-33 and PTM-10 in-ear monitors, and the PDP-G wireless guitar system. Even with all these devices running, there was no noticeable interference. My PA system often gets used at local sporting events and charity events, for announcers, guest speakers, and field announcements and speeches. So I’m looking forward to replacing hardwired microphones and other wireless clunky microphones with the lapel mic. It will be a much classier presentation. During initial tests, the system maintained a good connection up to about 100 feet away, which gives me confidence for these kinds of events. So I am confident, I will not have any issues for my type of usage. As mentioned earlier charging this system has been convenient. Both the receiver and body pack charge fully using the same USB-C chargers as our PDP-G guitar system. This consistency in chargers helps make things a bit more efficient, however, as I have not fully tested the battery life, I cannot speak to the complete duration and recharge cycle so I’m not sure of my true preference of this versus AA batteries. I think this will be a nice reliable wireless mic solution for events, or public announcements. I’m definitely a fan and will add this to our gear as we continue to cut the cord!

Excellent value for the price.
Unit is very high quality. All made of metal. I received it, plugged it right into the mixer on Sunday morning, and worked perfectly. Adjusted EQ just a bit for sound and was done. Compared to the Shure that I currently use, this one is a little crispier on the sound. Ran the unit at about 75ft, zero drops. I love the built in rechargeable batteries, don't have to keep replacing batteries. My $300 Shure doesn't even come with batteries. The only improvement I would like to see is a version of this that has the receiver in a box to run permanent power for long term use and keep this low price. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. Worth far more than the price.
