A Must Buy
I'm impressed with how great this fan looks but more importantly how good it works! Fan is nearly completely silent at almost all speeds . It has 6 speeds! The sleek looking lamp has three different lighting intensity colors from bright white to incandescent and something in between. Plus you can custom dim each one to your liking. It has a great easy to use remote plus a shut off timer up to 4 hours. Installation was a breeze and instruction manual easy to read. Overall this is one of my best online purchases ever.

Nice and quiet fan, easy to install
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a small hugging fan for a very good price. It was very easy to install with clear instructions. The remote was already synced, so that was no hassle. I installed two of these fans. One missed two screws and when I contacted the support, they responded directly and provided a great solution. Highly recommended!

Great Fan - Great Value
After searching our local Home Depot & Lowe's, I went on Amazon to compare the size and prices. This fan was has more features at a lower cost. It was easy to assemble. The remote is an added bonus, as our ceiling is high. The fan works great cooling down the room.

42 Inch Low Profile Ceiling Fan with Lights by addlon
Installation of this ceiling fan was easy, and looks nice for it's size. It has a good amount of air volume on it's highest setting. Works well and includes 3 different light spectrum choices. This item would have 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the wireless remote has difficulty connecting through the ceiling fan once installed. Maybe the signal is weak, but I noticed that I have to press the turn on/off light button multiple times and even bring it within inches of it for it to work. Other than that, good value for the money.

Great fan; not sure if LED lights are replaceable
We had a fancy fan that stopped turning. This was to replace the one we had. This fits well in a small computer nook area that gets very hot. One side of the blades are white; the other side wood, so you have a choice on which side you wish to see. Having a remote for the fan is great. It has 6 speeds & works well. The LED light works well. What I don't know, is if the LED light is replaceable, once it burns out. I had a different LED light for reading, that said it had about 5-8 years of life, depending upon usage, which would have been fine, but it burned out after 1.5 years, and had to be thrown out. We had to pay someone to install this fan. I am hoping the LED light is something replaceable, as most things these days do not seem to last. Also, the base of this fan was smaller than our previous one. Our handyman bought a plate for it, which was still too small an area, and started talking about painting our entire ceiling to cover the area. I got him to look for a larger plate, to go around the base, which worked perfectly.Just a couple of things to consider, if purchasing: The size of the base, if covering an area that formerly had a fan there, the life of the lights & if they are replaceable, and the length of the blades for the area you are using the fan. Our space was only about 8'x9', and this fan currently works beautifully! I definitely cools things down, even if no a/c on.

Three Major Flaws
These are nice fans, they are quiet, the 6 fan speeds are nice and I didn't realize how much I would enjoy changing the light temperature in a room. The instructions are also easy to follow and the affirmations on them are hilarious. After installing three of these in our home I am wondering if I will regret using these later on. As the title states, they have three major problems to consider before purchasing them.1. There is a 4s delay when turn on the light at the wall switch and let me tell you 4s is an eternity when you are just popping into a room for something quick.2. It does not use light bulbs so you can't just swing by the hardware store and pick some up. You'll need to order their light picks on Amazon and wait for shipping or keep your own stock.3. There is no way to turn on the fan without the remote. There are no buttons or pull chains and something tells me I'm gonna lose the remote at some point or more accurately, one of the kids is going to lose the remote at some point.Last note but not a big flaw, I wish the manufacturer would have made a strap system for the transmitter box. It's crazy to me that you just have to shove it up there and wiggle everything in place. I feel like a simple strap or bungie would be an easy upgrade and make a huge difference during the installation process.

Joke of a fan
I have installed close to 100 ceiling fans in my lifetime and this is, by far, the absolute worst experience with a ceiling fan I have ever experienced.First off - the reciever module is external to the fan and too big to fit into any junction box, so you have to wire seperate power to it and get above/outside the junction box to install it.They also use custom connectors to connect the fan to the light to the power source, so you have to wire extensions to nearly every single lead because they skimped on all the cable lengthsIt also is a direct mount to the ceiling bowl. I have literally never seen this before. No drop down rod, no cradle, directly bolted to your junction box by the bowl. God forbid this thing ever become imbalanced in any way, it will start gouging your ceiling. Also, the light only has three modes, the warm is barely warm and doesn't come anywhere near to matching the lights in the rest of the house.Additionally, probably due to the amount of pulling I had to to do toget the cheap leads run correctly, the fan literally just died after running for 2 hours. Now I have to take the whole thing down and see what the problem is because there's literally no other way to work on this fan other than to completely take the whole thing down from the ceiling. This review helped me decide that, despite all of the effort and waiting, I am returning this joke of a fan and getting a proper ceiling fan that was designed by someone who actually knew what they were doing.
