The graphics are extraordinarily amazing!!!
The quality of the illustrations are amazing. My 10 year old grandson read this in about three days. He says it’s the best book he’s ever read. It is exactly like the original worded book. I plan on buying this book for my other grandchildren.

A great buy
I just wanna start this off by saying what I enjoy about the book. The artwork is amazing, I read the book before this and while reading it I really struggled envisioning how this world would look like in my eyes, it wasn’t the fault of the author but really the fault of mine since I don’t have a good imagination. But in this book it perfectly captures it, the world is bleak and grey and just dead really. There are some parts of the book in which a fire takes place I think and the environment turns red and there’s like dust floating around which made me think of how awful it would be to breathe in this stuff or walk around in it. I also like the design of the father and the boy, in the movie they look like they’re in an wasteland sure but in this book it’s like they’ve lived their whole lives in here which they pretty much have, it really makes you feel it, the design of the death cults and gangs are also awesome since they look like actual savages you would find in a situation like this and it added to the fear you would feel when they were encountered. Everything about this book is good except for one small thing which is the story. Now I’m not saying that’s it’s bad but I feel like there were some scenes that could’ve made it more emotional. Like I said I’ve read the book and when finishing the story I remember like two or three scenes between the father and the boy which were left out and I thought would’ve made the story a lot more impactful by the end. Same thing with the mother character, I thought that if we actually saw the conversations between the mother and the father it would’ve been more meaningful the journey. It nothing huge and I think if you’re taking in the story for the first time without knowing about the book then I think it will still end up a good story. Like I said nothing major still enjoyed the story just would’ve liked the little touch up. But if you haven’t please buy this, it is n amazing piece of art and you really need to experience it for yourself.

Nice adaptation.
I saw this book at the store and flipped thru it, was enough to convince me to add to the collection. Read it in two sittings at night before bed. Hauntingly well done. The art fits the bleak story well. Highly recommend, 5 stars. Definitely not an uplifting tale, but an effective one in tone.

Stunning…and horrible
Have you ever seen Threads? How about When the Wind Blows? This makes those look like Sesame Street. You will finish this book with a heavy heart, but I recommend it with all of mine…

This story is bleak to say the least
This story is bleak to say the least, the art is amazing and also quite bleak. I've actually never read the book. I have seen the movie but this is my favorite version. If you can have a favorite, it's bleak,It's dark, I do recommend it
