Gonna admit I did not follow instructions! I wasted the first one trying to get the bubbles out and completely stretched it soo much it would wrap around my Palma! Not to mention how infuriating it was! I found the spray after reading the instructions and the second application took less than 2 mins! (Will never admit I was wrong to my husband but I will here)It’s great so far! Love it. I can’t tell it has it on.

Product Quality and FitI purchased this screen protector specifically for my Boox Palma e-reader, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit the device properly. The width of the screen protector is too small, leaving the edges of the screen exposed and unprotected. This is a major disappointment, as a precise fit is crucial for a screen protector to effectively serve its purpose.Application ProcessApplying the screen protector was a frustrating experience. Despite following the instructions carefully, I encountered numerous bubbles during the application process. I used both screen protectors included in the package, hoping for a better result on the second attempt. However, the outcome was nearly as unsatisfactory as the first try, with bubbles still present and the fit remaining inadequate.Overall ExperienceGiven the poor fit and the challenging application process, I cannot recommend this product to fellow Boox Palma owners. The lack of precision in the screen protector's dimensions and the difficulty in achieving a bubble-free application have led to a disappointing experience overall.I strongly suggest that the manufacturer revisits the design and sizing of this product to ensure a better fit for the Boox Palma. Additionally, improvements in the application process or clearer instructions would be beneficial to help users achieve a smoother, bubble-free installation.

So you can see there is quite a disparity between reviews -- the main key is knowing how to apply it. Watch the Skinomi video on YouTube that explains how to apply the screen protector and you will see why I am rating it a 5. I have used Skinomi screen protectors for over 10 years and they work very, very well. They are actually easier to apply than a PET screen protector if you know how to apply them, and they protect better and last a lot longer. I also did not realize how fragile e-ink screens are -- so I would recommend this highly putting a screen protector on it if you don't have a flip cover, and likely with the Palma you won't because it will impedes the functionality of the highly customizable side buttons. Also, it covers fine, superficial scratches without impeding the text quality at all.

I've been using wet-mount Skinomi screen protectors for years, my first Amazon order for one dates back all the way to 2013. So when I saw they made these for the Palma, it was an easy choice.When it comes to anti-glare/matte style screen protectors, wet-mount type like these where you apply them with a light mist of soapy water are the way to go. The regular dry-mount style ones tend to have too much graining and degrade the screen quality.Some contrast is always lost when laying a piece of film over the original screen of anything, but when it comes to e-ink it's almost unnoticeable and certainly a fair trade off for increase scratch protection. The matte effect has a very similar sheen to the original screen, so except for the notch cutout on the top of the screen protector, you could almost forget it has one on.The fit is fine, I can see why some people are upset about the notch cutout on the top of the device, however I believe it's there for the ambient light sensor. I too would rather have no notch cutout, and instead two cutouts one for the speaker and one for the ambient light sensor; but it's not a deal breaker for me.Overall width and height is also fine, it leaves a very minimal piece of the screen exposed which is typical of virtually every screen protector I've used. There is 100% coverage over the e-ink readable part of the screen, only the upper notch and a small sliver around the bezel is exposed.I had no issues with bubbles, those mainly come from installation error, trapped dust, or touching the glue side of the screen protector with dry finger tips. If you're having trouble with dust, I recommend installing it the bathroom after you've run the shower and the room is still steamy. The wet air will greatly reduce any dust flying around that can potentially land on your screen mid-install. I didn't find that necessary to do for this screen since it was small, but I've often used that method for installing screen protectors on devices with larger screens like laptops and tablets.

I've purchased this brand of screen protector for many of my devices in the past and I've always preferred a wet application than dry since, personally, I find it easier to apply. The package comes with instructions, 2 screen protectors, a silicone squeegee, a small microfiber cleaning rag, and a small spray bottle of solution which allow you to handle the screen protector without it sticking to your fingers. I wished it came with an alcohol cleaning wipe, but that's really not much of an issue. Just be aware that thus is not a tempered glass screen protector, however the product is reasonably thick and not some thin plastic or TPU cover. Like all screen cover installations, make sure you are in a dust free environment, your hands clean and READ the provided intructions!. I installed mine in the bathroom after I took a shower - while it was still steamy inside. Once applied, the matte cover blended so well that it was hard to tell it was on the reader. Give it a day for the glue to set and dry. I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out.

This fit of this screen protector is way off, I couldn't get it to fit. Both did not fit properly so I had to trash them.
