Not for sensitive prone skin.
This soap is fantastic. I put one for the bathroom sink and one in the shower. Its great for hands, face, and as a body wash. I have very sensitive and dry prone skin. I have ezcema and this soap does is very gentle on my skin. No irritation at all, just fresh clean skin. And OMG my bathroom smells amazing. This soap is so powerful my whole bathroom smells like soap. Just a very clean soap smell, I love it!Update: after using this soap, just after a week. My skin started to break out in a rash. My face totally broke out. And my skin became very dry and I'm just super itchy all over. I wanted to try an antibacterial soap, but this is not for me Or anyone with eczema or sensitive skin.

Safeguard Aloe definitely worth trying.
This particular scent (aloe) smells fresh. It has great lather quality. Does not dry out the skin. In addition, because the soap is white there is no concern of it staining my wash clothes (like some other soaps.)

We used safeguard in my home , when I was kid & scent was light refreshing & lingers however I forgot how dried out & ashy it had my skin, I thought maybe this 1 was a little different

Decades of use by multiple generations in my family
I'm in my 50s & my family has used Safeguard Bar Soap my whole life. Safeguard is a trusted brand with longevity & you can count on it's quality. I will mention that the bar size has gotten smaller over the years, but that's happening to most products nowadays. I have an autoimmune disease with extremely sensitive skin & I absolutely hate it when legacy products change their scents or add something different as my skin can tell, thankfully I don't get a reaction from Safeguard. I have hard water & like the squeaky clean feeling on my skin after showering & I tend to have dry skin especially in winter, but I don't find a difference between Safeguard & a body wash so it's not because the soap caused skin dryness. I definitely recommend trying Safeguard Bar Soap if you haven't already.

Safety soap
Soap that saves lives!The basic white bar of antibacterial with aloe.Nothing more, nothing less.For showering I would add a designer/artesian bar after using this soap for your moisturizer.This will still leave your skin soft and feeling fresh, but for those who do have sensitive or dry skin, I suggest adding for moisturizing benefit.Remember, this is the clean soap. You should always have it on hand even if it’s not your primary hand/body.This was my go-to after cleaning and flushing an infection with water & soap during antibiotics.
