This comes exactly as pictured! Each of the parts works well, its very soft and cozy, and looks just like the picture. Very good for babies/toddlers learning fine motor skills and for dementia patients!

We got this for my mother-in-law, who has dementia, stage 7 out of 10. She likes to keep her hands busy and usually will have a small blanket or a towel with her while she's sitting and will continually fold and refold those, being very careful to ensure that the item is folded perfectly. We thought that this would be a good alternative and give her a variety of items to 'play' with, both to keep her hands busy and to help maintain coordination, dexterity, and finger/grip strength, and she has developed a fondness for stuffed animals.She was excited with this "stuffed" dog, as that's what she thought it was, just another stuffed animal to cuddle. When she first put her hands inside the openings, she was a little confused, but she felt around, pulled out the plastic "ball" and then started to look more closely at the dog.We helped and guided her a little, showing that there were other items on the dog that she could touch, unzip, unsnap, ruffle, etc., and pretty quickly she became interested and started to work on some of the items by herself.She also has a tendency to feel cold most of the time, even inside and with the heat turned up to 76, so the ability to place her hands inside the dog for warmth and comfort, while at the same time still being able to keep her hands busy with the plastic knotted ball inside is a big, big plus.This has been an excellent diversion for her and has kept her occupied and interested. For $30 (at time of review), we can easily recommend this if you have a loved one with dementia and need something to help keep her/him happy and involved.

I have many kids of fidgets for autist daughter who loves to collect and loves fidgets. The puppy is a muff for cold hands which will be handy when we are sitting at school games and the removable blanket on the puppy will give her something to fiddle with to help pass the time. Whoever came up with it, this is a good idea. I do wish there were more fidgety things on the blanket, so I plant to add to it.

This little fidget blanket and muff combo can help redirect and dissipate some of that energy. I really liked how soft and warm the dog’s fur was and that the fidget mat appears to be well constructed and capable of withstanding repeated cleanings. The activities include practical skills like buckles and a zipper as well as different stimulating textures and colors. I couldn’t find any sharp edges or loose parts upon inspection. I also appreciate that he blanket is detachable and can be cleaned separately, since that is the part that will likely see most handling. It’s remarkable how simple fidget toys like this one can significantly improve a loved one’s quality of life. Highly recommended.
