I love these small embroidery designs because I enjoy personalizing my clothes and bags and anything with little embroidered surprises. These are pretty cute and simple designs. They could be done as outlines or filled in with as much detail as your experience will allow. I bought this set solely for the flamingo. But I am embroidering one of the flowers onto the back pocket of some jeans. The animals are cartoony, perhaps juvenile, but as you embroider, you can alter the patterns slightly to make them look different pretty easily.The sheets work as they should. The pattern can be cut out and stuck to fabric. You need to supply your own thread hoop, decide your own stitches and colors, so this is something you should use after you have a little embroidery experience under your belt. The paper dissolved easily for me with just a rinse. Fun product and an inexpensive way to try these patterns out if you never have.

These designs iron to any fabric and stay there until dissolved in water. The designs for embroidery are fun and well-drawn for embroidery purposes. They are sized well and work as advertised. Will likely buy more designs from this seller thanks to excellent experience this time and good product.

Overall, these water soluble embroidery patterns offer convenience and good creative potential. They dissolve easily with warm water, though multiple washes may be needed for complete removal of the filmy gunk that melts down from the embroidery pattern paper. There are three pattern sheets which contain 40 embroidery designs, so there's plenty of variety for many different projects. While the designs lean towards simplicity and are somewhat child-oriented, they can still be good for adults with a whimsical sense of taste. I will however note the lack of instructions, so these are not good for anyone who is completely new to embroidery. (Hoop, thread, needles, and other embroidery supplies not included.)

The owls, in this set, are so cute! I actually photocopied them, so I can use them again later. These sheets are great and wash away with water! They are so easy to use! Highly recommend.

I just got back into embroidery and I love these so much. They make it super easy to do cool designs without having to draw the project yourself. They dissolve fairly easily in cold water, though I have needed a second wash a time or two.
