my husband is very picky about what he wears and he did not like how other puffer jackets look feminine or makes people appear “plumper.” I ordered 6 puffer jackets and this was his favorite. I changed his mind, once he wore it in 50 degree weather and it kept him warm.The insulation is very thin but effective it is awesome to travel with since it fits in its little bag and can be tossed in a backpack or carry one without and issue!Only wish it had a hoodie to keep those ears warm in cold windy weather!

It seems to be down. When I got the jacket it was compressed but 2 minutes in the dryer on LOW HEAT and 5 minutes on air fluff delivered a nice fluffy coat. the nylon shell is thin but this coat is not a work jacket. I like large jackets but ordered the X-large. It fits loose but I'm sure it will shrink a bit when washed. I bought it to use under my nylon coat when backpacking. It will be teste the 1st week of May in Colorado. It does stuff nice and small but fluffs up right a way. I would not use it as a top coat with a pack but under my heavy nylon coat it should be fine. Used this backpacking in Yosemite. It’s not thick down so I also carry a similar down vest in case more warmth is needed. Packs tight and small. Would prefer the hood being removable or rollable into the collar. Overall, very comfortable and moderately warm.

Surprisingly warm, but not made to last. It's not a down parka, but with a few layers underneath, it'll keep you warm into the 40s. Trouble is the material is extremely thin and stitching is not very strong. It's great that it compresses into its little bag, but be careful when you wear it. All it would take is catching it once on a door latch or something, and it'll come apart.

Bought this for my husband. He loves it and wears it all the time. Great buy!

Cheap material. Very thin. Will not recommend it or buy again.
